+ -1 moreI had to call them back at 2pm and they were very nice about apologizing and told me to bring it back in. I have a portable Verizon Jetpack WIFI. They could duplicate the problem using my connection but when connected through their own WIFI it worked fine. This was their diagnosis and handed it back to me and told me to call Verizon. When I connected via their wireless in their office before I left I experienced the same problem. He fiddled with the laptop for about 15 minutes and said he couldn't figure it out. For $145 I received a free antivirus upload and a message of good luck. I'm not sure what else they could do since they are supposed to be experts, but I am certainly not happy with the outcome.
Description of Work: My laptop was running choppy and felt like I may have had a virus and it needed to be cleaned up. I brought it in on a Tuesday and they delivered on their promise of having it ready on Friday. I explained that the system was running very slow to open pages, some pages didn't open at all, links wouldn't activate and the system would shut down on me. I pick it up on Friday and was told they installed and ran a free virus software on it and the program did detect and clear the virus. Unfortuantely I believe that is all they did and I too could have done the same for free instead of paying them $145. But all is well and I bring it home and unfortunately it is still running the same issues as before. Their office hours are only M-F 8am to 5pm so I call them on Monday at 11am and it rolls to voice mail. I left a message and am waiting on a return call. I am not happy at this moment since I now need to bring this thing back to clearview on my lunch hour and I work in the CBD.
