David and his employees did a wonderful job with all the work. At first I just wanted them to scrape the ceiling and repaint in the bathroom, but we discovered a leak in the bathroom above that required replacing the ceiling drywall; he only charged another $50 to completely redo the ceiling. I even added painting the second bathroom at the last minute, and he was really cool about it. They did a great job cleaning up the spaces in the evening so that we didn't have to be too concerned about messing with their stuff; they moved all the furniture out of their way and back again; they were nice to my kids. They even finished a day earlier than I expected them to. Only complaint was that it was that he wasn't really quick to let me know when to expect him—he'd told me they'd either start Wednesday or Thursday, and Wednesday came around and no one was there. I ended up calling him mid-morning to make sure I shouldn't expect him until Thursday. Would have been nice if he'd called first. Wonderful work. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

It went very well. The person that was sent was very professional and explained what was happening with the walls cracking. Fixed everything in time allowed.

It didn't go well at all. I purchased the Angie's List deal in mid-December 2014. I didn't need the work done, immediately but knew that the coupon was good for 6 months. I couldn't get the provider to even come look at the job to see what it entailed. He just wanted to schedule a day to do it without even surveying the job. Since I have an older house with 12 foot ceilings, I thought he might want to know that, so that he had the necessary equipment. After several attempts to get him to JUST COME OUT AND LOOK AT IT, he finally told me he doesn't have the time. That he only used Angie's List in December because business was down and now he was "just squeezing me in." After that conversation, I told him I didn't want him to do the job. I expect a certain level of professionalism and if his paint job was in keeping with his business etiquette, I probably would not have been satisfied. He didn't even offer a refund for work NOT done.

David is very professional. Finished his job on time as promised. Gave me a couple helpful suggestions for a better look and less money to spend. Definitely would hire him again in the future.

Recommended the paint to use. Gave me information on prep work. Painters arrived on time and painted all day. Filled in with caulk as needed. trimmed out very professional, completed the job as estimated. Very professional and friendly. These painters know what to do and do it. Highly recommended for anyone that is looking for house painters. I will use Brooks again! Best part is, my wife is very happy with the finished product!

Brooks was quick to respond to my call and they were able to begin work within a week. Timing was crucial to our project, and they were able to get the job done. David was courteous and thorough. He and his team worked efficiently. I'm very pleased with the end result.

David and his crew did such a good job, that when a Disney movie crew wanted to hire someone to restore the house to its initial (pristine) condition, we recommended Brooks for the job. And once again, I'm very happy with their work. They were on time, on budget, and did a terrific job, in every way. They pick up after themselves, and they spot things that you might otherwise miss. I'm raving about them for a reason.

It went very well. I experienced some difficulty getting a date set and had to make a couple of phone calls. Now living in New Orleans, I have begun to expect this. That being said, the young man that came to do the job was GREAT! He explained what was happening with our walls/house and told me everything he planned to do. I told him I would do the texture and the painting. He explained to me what I needed to buy to texture the walls and how to do this before I painted ( I had several other areas that were not prepped properly from a previous contractor). He took his time and carefully fixed all the cracks that I had seen plus some that he, himself, found. We also had two holes in the sheet rock in our spare room. He fixed both beautifully. I am very pleased. I would use this company again and plan to do so for the stucco repairs needed on the outside of our home. Thanks Angie.

One painter for 8 hours: painted 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Overall, the work done was really good. However, the bathroom still needs an additional coat of paint and some places where I had spackled holes in the wall were not sanded prior to painting, so those will need to be redone as well. All that being said, for the price and time restraints, the job was well done.

Owner called as soon as I bought deal & scheduled promptly - even though I misremembered start time & my husband was rude to plasterer & sent him away, owner & plasterer were kind & understanding and he sent plasterer back later same day to do job merely charging me for Paul's gas for making 1st trip in vain. Both of them were THE BEST! would give both rave reviews & re-hire in future. Expert plastering is a vanishing art!

His work is beautiful. All of the lines are clean and sharp. We will continue to use his services in the suture and have referred our friends to him already.

I had an excellent experience. Service provider was there on time, offered an honest estimate, stayed true to his estimate, got the job done when he said it could be get done – actually ended up having one of his guys come over the morning of the 4th of July and finish the job, so they kind of went above-and-beyond. I would use them again.

Job was completed in a timely manner with zero issues.

We plan to schedule the repairs soon. He seems to his craft and I am looking to working with him.

Mr. Brooks responded promptly to my request for an estimate. He listened and didn't interrupt when we explained what we wanted done and showed him the areas to be worked on. He then asked questions to make sure we all understood what was to be done, when it could begin (and the expected finish), and then he measured all areas. We asked him about his business license and workmen's comp and other insurance. Mr. Brooks had all that was necessary. After reviewing other estimates, we chose Brooks Quality based on our interview with Mr. Brooks, and the following info: A+ Better Business Bureau rating, as well as being a member for many years; Louisiana licensed business since 1970; Estimate that was lower than others; History of this family-owned company, including the fact that the (youngest) Mr. Brooks, now the owner, had the help of his father whenever he asked. They didn't start the day we had originally agreed upon, but that was better for us as we weren't ready for them by that day anyway. They arrived promptly on the date at the time stated and immediately got to work. We had moved some of the furniture out of the rooms, but the crew just covered the furniture that remained and worked around it. Other than someone occasionally going in and out of the house for errands and tools, I barely saw them for hours as they worked in the back part of the house. Since the ceilings were still damp from the texture removal, they were able to work only about 4 hours the first day. But every day for the next 4 days the crew, including Mr. David Brooks and his father, arrived on time and worked without breaks. I'm sure they took a break for lunch, but it certainly wasn't a long one as I didn't even notice. Mr. Brooks showed us the work done each day and explained what was going to happen the next day. He didn't flinch when we added extra areas of drywall that needed repair, such as old phone and cable outlets. He added a small price increase when the walls of one of the rooms needed an extra coat of paint, but the price was more than fair. The finished work was beautiful. We couldn't even tell where damaged areas or old outlets had been located! They even did a small area (that wasn't included in the estimate) because it was so close to another finished area. They cleaned up after themselves each day, and asked for my final approval before accepting payment. I will definitely use Brooks Quality Painting in the future.
