After Barto's surly workers had 2 tries at installing the dishwasher, we now will have to pay someone else to do it properly. The installer insisted that having the front stick out crookedly from the cabinets was the best they could do. Very rude. Salesman was no help. Frank apparently forgot us the minute we paid. Stay away from these folks! A small discount on discontinued products isn't worth the aggravation.
Description of Work: Delivery/installation was a nightmare. They "forgot" the remote control, the owner's manuals and instructions. We were told we'd have to go to the store again and pick up these items. Salesman was no help. Installation was done wrong, but they would not come out and try to fix the problem until the following week.

I've been using Barto for over 25 years. They were very quick to make an easy sale and sell me the 5 year warranty program. It took them 5 days to arrange delivery, which I can understand that it can take some time. I had to pay extra for the mount that the unit slides into and for the installation for the 2nd floor. They told the tenant (who has been without A/C for 4 days) that the existing 220 outlet was the wrong outlet and they were not allowed to change it out to a 30amp outlet. They have always changed out my outlets in the past when they needed to be changed out. They went ahead and installed the window unit and told the tenant that it was his responsibility to call an electrician and have him change the plug out. I feel that when a company was paid for installation, the appliance should be working when they leave. They could have changed the plug out in 5 minutes. I found someone who took care of the plug and it only took 5 minutes. On top of it all, he sold me an A/C unit with a heat pump when I had only requested the A/C. They were willing to come and switch it out but I refused. I expect to have a better experience in the future if I decide to use them again.
Description of Work: I needed a window A/C unit for one of my apartments.
