"We have a large solar panel system that is about 10 years old. Our inverter went out about 2 months ago and Acheivers was two weeks or more coming to troubleshoot why our panels weren’t working. They sent another gentleman a week later who diagnosed the inverter as the problem and he would be back as soon as he got the part. And now….CRICKETS!!! We have called the business three times and they say Jerry Adams will call us back because he’s on the road (whatever that means) and nothing, no phone call, no texts….NOTHING! The third time we called, Friday, July 26,2024, I spoke to Jerry’s daughter who said I should call him because he was on the road. She gave me his number, I called and he never answered….it sent me to voice mail and the voice mail was full. I called acheiver’s store again this morning, July 29, 2024, and told them Jerry’s mailbox as full so I could not leave a voicemail and the telephone anawering lady told me, “His mailbox is not full, he doesn’t have it setup.” WHAT?????? I asked her how I was supposed to get in touch with him and she asked did I call him again today. By this point I was losing patience and reminded her that we paid them to install and maintain these panels so I shouldn’t have to call over and over and over. She was a bit short with me by this time and told me she didn’t have any knowledge of my solar panels, like I had made any indication that I thought she did. But, she did say she would call Jerry Adams and have him call me…..once again CRICKETS!"

"It was put on my mobile home in 2017 and has leaked every since .Keep calling them and they do send someone out after several phone calls. They have yet to fix the leaks and now are not very nice when i talk to them I believe since we are older they are putting us off until we pass away and they don’t have to deal with us anymore."

Window services FAQs

If you have a problem with your window, such as broken glass, minor leaks, or a problem with your window being stuck, repairing the broken part might be a cheaper option than replacing the entire window. However, if you have a deteriorating window frame or major leaks, buying a new window will be the better long-term solution.

Window replacement can become costly, especially if you’re replacing your whole home. There are a few steps you can take to help save money on the bottom cost while still giving your windows a facelift.

  • Replace multiple windows at once to bundle your purchase

  • Inquire about discounts, coupons, or special offers

  • Consider window repair as soon as you see damage to help prevent the need for replacement

  • Maintain your windows often by inspecting your windows for drafts, leaks, and cracks

There are certain window repairs that are cost-effective to DIY and relatively simple for homeowners to tackle themselves. Tasks like replacing a screen, replacing a lock, or sealing a window are typically under $30 and take minimal time to do yourself. However, if you need to replace your window or repair a broken double pane, it’s best to call in a professional window replacement installer to lend a hand. Replacing the majority or all of the windows in your home is a time consuming job and best left to a professional.

Window replacement costs between $180 and $410 per window, or an average of $280 per window. However, your specific replacement job could cost as little as $100 or as much as $750. Factors such as frame material, the number of windows you need, and the type of glass you order all impact the overall cost. For example, simple double-glazed windows will cost $3 to $6 per square foot, but the stronger tempered glass ranges from $12 to $14 per square foot.

The time it takes to replace a window is a total of four to 15 weeks. This time includes your initial consultation, appointments for measuring, as well as ordering and manufacturing your windows. For a smaller job, you can expect the total timeline to be on the shorter end, but for a whole house window replacement, it might take longer (or be split into multiple install appointments). Once your windows are created and ready to be installed, your window installer will take 30 to 60 minutes per window to install.
