Technician came to home stated it was electrical and I need to call an electrician, still charged service call. Electrician comes out and it is an actual dryer issue. Now I cannot get A&R to answer phone, voice mail is full, etc.

The oven works! Russsle even cleaned the "window" of the stove because he said "i want it to look good when I'm finished". That was a nice touch!

It worked perfectly for about a month. However, it now leaks worse than it did before they came. I am guessing that the work they did helped, but didn't actually fix what was wrong. We will have to call them again.

I purchased a diagnostic special offer on Angie's List from A & R Appliance Repair. After making my purchase on Angie's List, I thought A & R was going to contact me, but after waiting for one day, I decided to contact them. This is why I gave them a 'B' for responsiveness. Other than that, everything was perfect. Russell, who answered the phone when I called A & R, was very nice and he set up my appointment. We set up my appointment one week after I purchased the offer on Angie's List. They seemed to be busy and my wife and I have busy lives, but I did not mind. It went well. Russell was early and he repaired our washing machine but mentioned that soon we will need to purchase a new machine. He also taught us how to repair it should the same issue occur again. We only paid our $68 diagnostic fee. He did not charge anything extra for the repair perhaps because it only involved some labor. I will use A & R again. Russell was direct and to the point. He repaired our machine and gave me advice about purchasing a new washing machine. .

Did not repair decided to replace instead as recommended . The service man was extremely pleasant and explained everything . If we chose to repair, the charge to do the estimate would be applied to the bill. I would use them again

It wasn't fixed on the first visit, but the technician came back and fixed it the second time. I had not followed up on a friend's recommendation with someone else because she had said that he had to come back a few times. Since this also happened to me, I will use her person in the future.

Great. We received an email response almost immediately. Repair personnel arrived a day ahead for our scheduled appointment. The personnel were professional and efficient and attempted the least expensive repair first. When that was not successful, we contacted the company and they responded within an hour (even though it was after business hours). The next morning, they returned and fixed the problem. Excellent service.

The vendor performed a general inspection and performed manufacturer safety and function checks using integrated system testing functionality on the appliances themselves. One appliance (the microwave) was deemed not to be salvageable.

Repairman called before coming and was able to come earlier then the scheduled time. Examined the dryer and figured out what part was needed. Left to get the part, return and installed - dryer works great now. He also cleaned all the lint out of the dryer area and clean the vent. Price was very good and the repair went smoothly

We were having problems with our washer. When we called,we were able to get an appointment the next day. Mr. Russell showed up on time and began trouble shooting or washer,then determined that the fill valve was bad. He then called and got a price quote and let us know the price and ordered the part after i gave him the ok. After a few days washer started acting up again,so my wife called him back and he returned at the time we requested and took care of the problem.After a approx. a couple weeks washer started acting up again with a different error code.My wife called Mr. Russell again and told him about the problem and he came back again at a time of our convenience at no extra charge. After trouble shooting he found out that now the pump had gone out. i was a little leery about spending more money,but decided to have him fix it any way. Mr. Russell then ordered the part and changed it at no extra labor charge. Then after a couple of hours the same error code came up again,so my wife called Mr.Russell and told him and he said as soon as he finished his other calls on the east bank,that he would come back to check it out again which we said that was ok. Mr. Russell then came back and took his time to check everything then he found that washer had a basket kind of filter that had clogged up with lint that had built up since 2009 . He cleaned it out and now washer is working fine. Mr. Russell was very courteous and professional.If needed we will definitely use him again and highly recommend him and refer him to anyone who asks
