Mr. Byles gave me an estimate and went over everything he would do before I signed it. He had his own carpenter do some work so that he could get to the bathroom pipes inside the house, and the carpenter gave us a nice "picture frame" after he put back the wall. He replaced every incoming pipe under the house, so his plumbers had to do work underneath our house for 2 full days. He fitted all new brass connectors. He installed 3 outdoor faucets. He replaced my old kitchen faucet with a new gooseneck faucet. He replaced my old bathtub faucet & handles with new ones. He put shutoff valves on all toilets, sinks, appliances, and the water heater, and showed me how to use them. Those new valves are much easier to turn. So that we wouldn't be without water for very long, Mr. Byles used ALL of his plumbers to get the job done quickly. There were about 8 men at our house for 2 days, but they finished early the 2nd afternoon, so we only had to spend one night away from the house. There was one leak behind our washer that evening. I texted Mr. Byles and he came over the next morning to give us a new connector there, at no extra charge. This entire project cost $9800, and Mr. Byles wanted it all up front. He does take credit cards.

We decided to check with other businesses for a comparable price before commenting to Byles. In the end we went with a different company --offered same unit at a much better price.
