The job was a disaster ! Wayne Hughes lied to me face to face along with his wife Wendy, he first knock down my neighbors fence, causing $400.00 out of pocket expense, then with he’s inexperience he knocked down a large section of my new $47,000.00 retaining wall. When the wall provider stated that he shouldn’t have been with in 4’ of the wall as stated in the procedure for the wall, he started blaming them (LA Pavers) for poor Workmanship I have contacted two other construction professionals with over 35 year of experience each and they agree he should have never been that close. And Wayne’s so called experience he should have known that. I have photographic evidence that his tractor tire was right next the wall. LA pavers estimated the repairs to cost $12,500.00 they would eat $6,500.00 making Rebel improvements responsibly $6,000.00. He and his wife are refusing to pay this ; crying poor mouth, making me responsible to come up with their share of the money to get my wall repaired. This man and his wife are horrible backstabbing people that wouldn’t know professionalisms if it bit them on the seat of their pants! If you let this man on your property your asking for trouble. He might be a good grass cutter but he has no clue on how to work around a home with a large tractor! Last thing; I had to ask him to stop throwing his cigarette butts on my property, again what first started as a promising job turned in to a nightmare!!!!!
