My second floor was sinking toward the middle of the house. Charlie determined what needed to be done and had his men start the process of jacking up the second floor and installing the support needed since when originally built, the load bearing walls did not have the support needed. Despite being very busy, Charlie squeezed my job in and his guys showed up on time every day till the job was done. They were respectful, never slacked off, but worked constantly and cleaned up after themselves every day before they left. They did a great job! This was a very unique and difficult problem to resolve but Charlie and his crew did it and did it well and at a very reasonable cost. I am so happy with the job they did and will definitely hire them again.

They're is some materials that is sub standard, they're are cracks on both side they have some 4x4 that has crack through and through. The riser is cracks and they're cracked on the wood and sure it gonna be cracked. They put sealant on it but did not come back to clean the residue. He has to respond on the punch list that we agreed to list down for him to do the correction. I indicated to him was the problem was and need to come back to do the corrections and it part of the contract. I paid a little over $19,000 and final payment is $500 to do the completion of the punch list according to the contract. He initiated on June 8 for the pinch list and I emailed and called them beginning when I told him that I have a punch list already. Called him on June 16 asking him about the punch list that need to be corrected and not hear from him. I had surgery on my knee so I just contacted to him now but I never heard from him. I contacted him on June 16 and June 28 and today.

Very patient and understanding as we wrangled with our insurance company, he was able to get the work done on time and in the manner we agreed to. Charlie was extremely professional and kept me in the loop on the whole project. Very responsive and completed the project from start to finish with exceptional service. Charlie helped me with the insurance company to obtain the value needed for the project fue to the pipe burst. I had a chip in the flooring when the work was done and Charlie had his crew come back and fix the whole thing and kept to the original quote. Extremely fair and reasonable pricing. Would recommend anyone with any home project to Charlie and his crew. Fantastic drywall, paint, floor laying, and general repairs. 5/5 stars and i will be using Premier Southern Builders for any project in the future!

These guys finished updating the interior of my house that had been rented out for 10 years. They painted the entire interior and it looks great! The place had little fixer uppers all over the house and they removed, repaired and replaced in a timely manner. They kept me in the loop thru the entire process with day to day updates until the job was completed. Place looks great!! Thanks Guys!!! Would totally recommend.

Needed a general contractor to repair my garage that was hit by an out of control vehicle. I found Charlie with Southern Home Builders and it turned out to be the best choice I have ever made. Charlie was very nice and professional. He understood what we was going through with our home insurance company and gave very good advice on how to deal with the insurance company. Once hired everything went according to schedule as Charlie said and the work was finished on time without any major problems. Thank you Charlie for everything you did you put our mind at ease during the entire process. I would definitely hire again and recommend your company to others.

Work was done satisfactorily in accordance with estimate and on time. Would definitely use Premier Southern for similar work in the future.

The project started on time and progressed as stated in the contract. All subcontractors were professional, punctual, did quality work and gave great advice on design questions. Charlie did a great job keeping the project on schedule. A few minor glitches arose, but all concerns were addressed and resolved satisfactorily. We would recommend Premier Southern Builders to others and would use them for future projects.

Charlie, Rene, and their crew were wonderful to work with and the contract that was signed was clear and covered both us and Charlie. Because we were flood victims and had to wait for insurance money to be released from our mortgage company, they were all very accommodating and continued to get the work done. In addition, they kept us updated and provided us with information that helped us stay in budget as well as give us the house we could've only dreamed of. Charlie's contact for tile was wonderful, he even contacted me via FaceTime because I was unable to drive to Metairie to see his inventory and showed me everything that fit what I described wanting. If anything went wrong, Charlie was a HUGE advocate for us. The only incident we had was a texture job that Charlie wasn't satisfied with (he knew what to look for better than we did) and he had them come back out to redo the work and also clean some items that they neglected to cover. We an issue with some things being hooked up, and Charlie and Rene drove almost 2 hours within a day to come check out the issue and fix it. My husband and I couldn't have been more blessed with someone honest, understanding, and willing to work with us. Plus, we're one of the first people in our part of the neighborhood to have our home completed, even with the delays of ordering doors, cabinets, etc.

His name is Charlie Mule and he is very good. He is a contractor. I would rate him very high.
