Description of Work: Paint front and side of house

Description of Work: I had worked with Hellas in the past and he had done a great job, even combing over the paint to make sure no spots were missed. His staff was impeccable as well. This time, I initially had trouble because the lead paint dust was going all over neighbor's properties until I insisted that he tarp better. Later, he painted my windows closed, and I was unable to get him to return to unstick them and replace the rafter tails that I had paid him for. At the end, I held out $700, but the unfinished work cost more. Rafter tail repair/replacement, screens still off and unpainted, unpainted trim, etc. | Also, he demolished a kitchen for me in two days, but left a dumpster I had paid for in front of my house for several weeks while he filled it with debris from other jobs and ignored my phone calls to complete our contracted work. He got a bigger job doing a bunch of townhouses. | |Exterior paint job was OK, except for left unfinished and my windows are still painted shut. However, the interior had terrible coverage. When he is "on" and available, Hellas is very professional and a joy to work with. "When he is "off," he is unresponsive. However, the inconsistency is frustrating when he is too busy doing other jobs to complete his contracts.

Description of Work: Interior Sanding & Painting

Description of Work: We have a raised three-story house near the lake in Old Mandeville. All three stories were washed and painted. The South side of the house also required caulking.

Description of Work: My expectations were high and I was very let down! I can't think of one redeeming statement.

Description of Work: Exterior painting, sanding, carpentry.

Description of Work: Exterior house (2,200 square feet) painting including sanding, repairing, replacing of rotten boards, one coat primer plus two top coats.

Description of Work: Sanded, pressure washed, and painted exterior of a single story double shotgun with weatherboards.
