+ -1 moreMy dish washer stated making a very loud noise. Called to set up an appointment and he came out the next day. He replied the washer motor and gave me some tips on how to keep the machine running in top shape. I paid $300 for the service but most of that was the new washer motor. His labor is very reasonable.

+ -1 moreHe found the problem quickly. Unfortunately, the motor is on it's last leg. He did put together a cheap repair that should keep it running as long as possible. Good guy and reasonable priced. He got me an appointment quickly and was finished in about an hour or so. The best part about the experience was that I didn't have to load my mower into my truck and bring it in to a shop just to wait days for an estimate. I would use him again.

An hour later, my appliance was up and running, and the bill was minimal. Nice man, good work, realistic price. He will be my go to repairman. I highly recommend him.

+ -1 moreI have used them for years. I have always been satisfied with the service. It was a reasonable price. He does extra things. He showed me how to clean my cooked up and showed me how to use a cleaner in the kitchen. He gives a little extra service. He's always prompt. When he says he's coming at a certain time, he comes. I'm very pleased with them. I've used them for 25 years. I've never had any complaints. The price was fine. I would absolutely use them in the future.
Description of Work: I have the springs broken in the oven several number of times. He comes and replaces them. The last they came was for a burner.

+ -1 moreI called John on a Tuesday or Wednesday because our dishwasher was leaking water. He was able to come out the following day to take a look at it. He was very pleasant and was able to locate the problem. He gave us suggestions to hopefully prevent the problem from reoccuring in the future. I cannot comment if the price was reasonable or not since this was my first time needing an appliance repaired. He does charge a minimum of $90 or $95 to come out I believe. I would use him again.

+ -1 moreJohn was very prompt and was the third call that I made that day to find someone to come out and look at the dishwasher. He came later that day. He detected a bad temperature sensor in the dishwasher causing the drain pump not to work. We got it to work after resetting the dishwasher and removing the temperature sensor. Too him about an hour total. I have no idea what the cost of a repair man is as this is the first time I have had to call one out so I am not sure whether that was a good price or not.

+ 0 moreI left a voicemail on a Sunday and Mr. Culotta called me back during half time of the football game that same day. We scheduled an appointment for the next morning. He even arrived early when I called him Monday morning and asked if he could come earlier. Prior to Mr. Culotta's repair, I had two large nonfunctioning microwaves. By the time he left my home, I had two large fully functioning microwaves for the cost of purchasing a new SMALLER microwave. Very capable, professional, quick and willing to explain the work he was doing. I will certainly call Mr. Culotta when I need his service again! Thanks, Mr. Culotta!!!

+ -1 moreJohn was very professional. We call on Monday forgetting that it was Labor Day. My husband remember it was a holiday and didn't leave a message preferring to call on Tuesday. An hour later John called us talked to my husband about the problem and made and appointment for the next day, early afternoon. He called Tuesday to obtain the model number and stated he would be about 2PM. He arrived at 2:05PM. He had a hunch it was the water intake valve had the correct part with him and changed out the valve in less than an hour, He was prompt, courteous, worked efficiently, and was reasonably priced. We would definitely use his service again and would recommend him to others.

He even called me on his way here just to let me know he would be at my home shortly. He came to my home, and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He fixed my microwave within a few minutes, and also fixed my loose door handle! My microwave now works perfectly! I would definitely use Best Service again, and I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: My slightly more than a year old Electrolux oven door was accidentally locked and I couldn't get it open. John came out quickly and although not familiar with that model oven figured out the locking mechanism was too weak to unlock the door so he did it manually so I could use it. He said I would not be able to use the oven clean feature which I had not used since I had the oven (which I wish I had done) so it must have not worked from the beginning and now the warranty was expired. Electrolux also told me to use one of their designated Electrolux repair guys and they would pay for the part only as long as I bought the extended warranty. However the repair was going to cost less than purchasing an extended warranty so John purchased the part and installed it today in less than an hour. My oven cleaning feature now is working. Whenever I purchase a new appliance I will make sure to test all the features before the warranty expire! This was a $2000 (without tax) oven which I had for 14 months and I had to spend $300 to repair it.

I called yesterday (10/1/2014) about 4 p.m. Told him what was going on and he said would be here today at 9 a.m. He was on time and had the dishwasher repaired in 30 minutes. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly. I highly recommend this company and John. He also gave 10% off for Angie's List.

Upon finding that there was more to the issue than expected, he got to the root of the problem (fuse blown), and repaired that before moving on to the other issue at hand. Very smart guy and it's just very refreshing to find someone who knows a lot and can use that knowledge to diagnose non-text book issues that arise. He was kind and explained everything he did, so I could follow along. I'd recommend to anyone, and will definitely use him again if the time comes.

+ -1 moreI called this morning and he stopped at my house (he is close by) on his way out to do his calls for the day. He was very very thorough and patient as that unit seemed like a hassle to me. He tested one thing and then another to make absolutely sure we would not order any unnecessary parts in the end. He explained what he was doing as he went along so I was clear on his process and findings. The element was good, the first board (control panel) was good, then he finds that the power control box was not making contact on that one burner. He checked each plug to make sure they were tightly plugged in and then the burner worked. He advised not jumping to order a new power unit since this may work just fine and not fail again. If it does fail again we will pick up where we left off -- he will order that part and we will replace at that point.
Description of Work: One burner on my electric cooktop would not light up. He came and took the entire unit apart to test and find the problem. I assumed it would be the element but when he tested it the element was fine. He continued in his search and found that the power unit was malfunctioning. He said that sometime it could be loose or a solder may be weak. The check to make sure all the plug connections were tight and put the whole unit back together. It worked when we turned it back on. He said it would be best to just continue using it and not order any parts prematurely -- then if it happens again we already know it is the power source section of the unit that will need to be replaced. I paid his service charge only eventhough he worked to take that entire unit apart because he gave an Angie's List discount. I'm a happy camper.
