"Geoff, Juist think. You were willing to walk away from a large cabinet order (total of 40 linear feet plus upper cabs, totaling tens of thousands of dollar), because you couldn’t be respectful of some older folks who have underlying health issues, meaning that getting Covid, for my husband, would be dangerous. You told me before that you are/were married to a doctor, right? She or he could certainly verify that having a vaccine does not prevent someone from getting a breakthrough case, nor spreading it to a health vulnerable individual. Also a cloth mask, such as yours - a cotton scarf- doesn’t prevent spread of the disease. Most importantly, however, you were utterly disrespectful to us in our home. Geoff, an obvious science-denier, self-righteously left our scheduled appointment because he refused to wear a mask. His rudeness to my husband and myself was disturbing and was a complete waste of our time. His lack of respect for others makes him part of the problem during a time when our country's health and economy is suffering. He is all proud of the fact that his cabinets are American made, but he certainly wasn't showing good citizenship today... and definitely not a "the customer is always right" type of person. So folks out there, Covid aside. Here's my caution. Today the disagreement was about masks. He'd rather lose a 60K order, than wear a proper mask for 20 minutes. I would worry about hiring a guy that is so set in his ways and demonstrably uncaring about his fellow man. If you hire him, boy, you better not go sideways, because he'd blow up the job rather than admit he's wrong. He's super young, and he'll probably mature, but right now I would tread with caution."

The cost to refinish wood furniture ranges widely, depending on the size and type of furniture. Here’s what you can expect to pay to refinish the following wood furniture items:
Table: $150–$700
Dining chair: $100–$400
Rocking chair: $200–$500
Bar stool: $100–$250
China cabinet or armoire: $500–$3,500
Dining set: $1,000–$3,000
Coffee table: $150–$800
Dresser: $300–$2,000
Bed: $350–$2,000
Pool table: $300–$600
Kitchen cabinets: $1,800–$5,000
Yes, you can refinish a table top only. This refinishing task is a common practice to revitalize a table without having to invest the time and expense of refinishing the entire piece, especially the bottom of the table. If the bottom half of the table is fine as-is, you can still refinish the top of the table to your liking.
Furniture restoration involves cleaning and minor cosmetic repairs to restore a piece of furniture to its original condition or as close to it as possible. In some cases, restoration may involve refinishing, but the end goal is still to make the furniture look like it did when it was brand-new. Refinishing furniture involves stripping and sanding away the existing finish and then applying a new finish like polyurethane, which may make the item look quite different from the original condition.
The cost to refinish a table is about $250, depending on the size, type of finish, and amount of detail involved in the table and the new finish. The lowest price to refinish a table is about $80, and the highest is about $700. Additional tasks like dipping, stripping, staining, and painting will add to the total project cost. Here are average costs to refinish a table by type:
Side or end table: $80–$150
Coffee table: $150–$250
Dining room table: $400–$700
The cost to refinish a dresser ranges from $300 to $2,000 on average, depending on the dresser’s size, material, and detail. If you need to repair the dresser before refinishing it, you can expect that service to cost extra. While it’s possible to restore and refinish antique furniture yourself, we recommend hiring a professional furniture refinisher to maintain the integrity of vintage and heirloom pieces. That way, you have the peace of mind of knowing that your dresser will receive professional-grade restoration.
