+ -1 moreThey did not do the things they said they would do. The cleaning ladies called in more times than they actually worked. I asked them to clean the binds, that's one example. They were a few minutes late. They kept taking breaks and they were smoking.

+ -1 moreI thought they were quite pricey for what they did. I personally would not use them again...they were too pricey. They just did basic cleaning; they didn't dust the ceiling fans or do the baseboards or wipe the walls or any of the extra cleaning so I thought for $400 they should have done in depth stuff that you don't necessary get to in a daily basis. That is my impression but that was several years ago so I don't know if they changed since then. They were very pleasant and I enjoyed having them so as far as personality and demeanor...it were pleasant. They were easy to work with. It wasn't the cleaners or the ladies that came to clean; I like them, but the company itself, I just thought that what they are charging for the two ladies to come for what was accomplish was not worth the money. The ladies were fine.
Description of Work: I used Merry Maids of Lake Charles for my grandmother but that was many years ago. We used their four hours cleaning; they sent two ladies and they just did basic cleaning.

+ -1 moreThe 2-person team came, cleaned & conquered the single floor house w/no muss or fuss...Their dust, vacuum & kitchen-bath jobs went so well, I decided to become a bi-monthly regular, instead of just 1 time when needed...The cost may be higher than others, but the others "fly-by-night" services are not licensed, bonded & insured or their work being guaranteed.

+ -1 moreHorrible! A total waste of my money.
Description of Work: Merry Maids had a list of services they would perform (clean baseboards, fan blades, etc.). They did not do half the things on their own list. The things they did were poorly done. My wood floors and granite countertops were streaked, many things were not dusted. I even had to scrub the toilets when I got home. I spent almost $400 and had to scrub my own toilets!!! When I called to report the poor work, the receptionist seemed very uninterested and unconcerned. She said, "I'll tell them." I never heard anything from anyone. They will never be asked to my home again!
