Mike (employee of the month) fixed it, did great, couldn't ask for a better job, XMAS even better since Mike plumed it.

Work went smoothly, finished in less than a day, very happy with results.

Did not know who to call for a plumber around this town and most of my friends have moved out of town or passed on to the other side. Consulted Angie List for feed back on plumber and went with Lanier Plumbing Inc. because of highest Positive feed back. First Repair done on 4/4/17 Repaired leaky shower in wall faucet by Mike. Response was same day as called, excellent service. Price for leaky shower valve, replace both stems $126. I asked Mike while he was here to look at and possibly get an estimate in replacing a hot water heater. Price quoted was same as if not lower than Lowes to install. Ricky came out and installed a 40 gallon vs a 30 gallon hot water heater and made everything proper to code. Price to install and haul away old heater $839.00. Excellent service from this company and will definitely recommend and use them again when the need arises.

Lanier Plumbing was very polite in his introduction. After hearing the details of my plumbing issue, he offered his earliest available day/time that would give immediate attention to the plumbing concern. He was prompt, very courteous to my husband, quickly diagnosed the problem and how he would resolve it and the potential cost. The work he did resolved the issue and the price was less than what he had projected, which made us very happy.

Mike arrived about 8:05a. Removed panelling under cabinets until he found the leak at T where sink drained into main pipe. Mike also had additional task of fighting some ants that made a nest around the pipe. He cut out old cast iron T's and some of the drain pipe to replace with PVC. Work took approx 5.5 hours. He did have to wait for some mortar material for clean out since old cast iron clean out much larger than PVC cleanout. He swept up after work completed. Liked the coupon offered for Angies List Members.

Came sooner than expected. Repaired the hot water heater very quickly. Charged only for the labor, as no parts were needed. Very prompt and courteous service!

I called Lanier plumbing to repair a leaking fitting that was recessed into the wall under my sink. The dispatch said to expect the plumber at around 3 PM that afternoon. At 5 PM the plumber still hadn't shown up so I went to Lowes and bought a tubing cutter and a compression fitting and did the repair myself. I really expected more from Lanier plumbing.

I thought the work took entirely too long. He did not have the proper parts of a pvc pipe and a union. The work took 4 hours. He ran copper instead of plastic tubing and now a drawer will not close all the way, as it is stuck on one of the pieces of copper. I was extremely dissapointed and unhappy with the service.

They were very efficient and got the job done quickly. Have not had any problem since.

I called about an outside drain line that drains my driveway. They came and reemed out the pipe one day and that wasn't successful. So he came back the next morning with a high pressure hose to try to clear the line. Unfortunately, he determined that it is broken in several places. Now I am waiting for an estimate to replace the line. This service wasn't successful, but every other time I have called Lanier, they have been able to accomplish the given task.

Went great, guy was first class and went right at it. He even took off the sewer lid and showed me the huge chunks of build up that had passed through. Great service, I have their magnetic card on the fridge and they are now my official plumbers and my only Lake Charles plumbing reference for anyone else that may asks.

They can promptly even though it was a holiday and night time. An estimate was given and that was the price paid.

Good response from estimate to completion. Drain line for washing machine discharge collapsed. Lanier [James] had to dig a tench for new line. I should have had the vent put in the wall instead of outside.

I had a water leak on the outside of my home. Lanier was called to provide services, they were not able to come out the day they were called but arrived the day after. The service provided was acceptable, it included digging to find the leak as well as fixing and covering the hole back up.

The freezer was blocking entrance to the water heater and it was not a problem for the plumber to climb over. He also had to return the next day to install because we had purchased the wrong size.

Arrived on time, performed work in short order and even cleaned up after them selves. Bathroom was as clean after as before.

Again, previous ratings on Angie's List made my decision to take the price offered instead of shopping around. Attempted to contact via company website. After about 1 week called and spoke to Vivian who indicated the email/website contact did not succeed but she very professionally took my request for a quote of jobs to be performed. Jason showed up and after discussing all of the things I wanted done gave me an estimate for two hours labor and parts. My spouse reminded me of a work item that I had forgotten about and I called about two days after Jason's estimate and asked Vivian to put in on the work order. Jason called approximately 30 minutes before arrival and when asked he informed me that Vivian had indeed placed the additional request of outside faucet on the work order. Jason arrived on time, went immediately to work, and completed very close to when he estimated the work would be completed. I did use the Angie's List coupon without a single problem. I have found other coupons are expected at estimate time but was impressed with this company's immediate honoring of the coupon. From start to finish I observed professionalism by Lanier's representatives.

Plumber was puntual and courteous. The price was given before he started the work. No extra cost was incurred when extra equipment was needed for the job and had to be delivered. I will use this company's services again. This was by far the best experience I have had with a plumbing company in this area.

They were the only ones that had the camera equipment to look into the sewer line. He found roots all throughout my sewer lines. They had to remove all the lines and replace them with PVC pipes. The other plumbers said that they would have to dig through my driveway, but Lanier did not have to cause me all that damage. The only problem was that when I had some questions about a knocking noise afterwards, they never called me back to explain the reason. They also never sent me the pictures of the line blockage.

Before 7 AM the next morning, we received a call. Soon after, we were scheduled for immediate service. We had a $25.00 Angie's List coupon that helped with the cost. Mark gave us a total cost before he began work. He was very polite, efficient, and neat with his work. Since the correct faucet parts were unavailable locally, he was unable to repair the faucet. So, he offered to come back if we can get the parts. He then removed all charges for that service from the bill. The water heater is working fine now and we are asking Moen for the parts we need. We expected to pay something for the time he spent on the faucet. We will use Lanier Plumbing again!

They showed up and unpacked equipment. They then started right on the job, sending the electrical snake through the drain. He ran it through until the area was unclogged. It is working better. It was clogged with root balls from nearby trees.

I contacted Lanier Plumbing after seeing their excellent BBB rating. Rick Lanier, the owner, came to do the estimate on a rough plumbing job for a master bathroom. He was very friendly, enthusiastic, and seemed to know exactly what we were expecting be done. I thought the estimate was reasonable, and Mr. Lanier seemed to take a genuine personal interest in the job. I was a little disappointed to find out that when 2 employees came to do the job, I was informed that Mr. Lanier was on vacation. This bothered me because he was the only one who had seen the room and what needed to be done. The job consisted of replacing part of the cast iron waste stack with PVC, roughing in plumbing for the sink, roughing in plumbing for the tub/shower, replacing and repositioning the tub drain (which involved digging up the floor to get to those pipes), and installing the tub. When the work was done, they had installed the hot/cold supply for the sink backwards, plumbed the shower head with used copper pipe that was bent, and when they filled in the hole from the tub drain fix, there was a 1/2" or more gap between the bottom of the tub and the new surface. Also, I noticed after the workers left the 1st time, the sink water supply was leaking. I called and they returned immediately to fix this. I didn't notice the other problems until my husband and I looked at the room a few days later. I called Mr. Lanier and requested they come back to fix these problems. They did return, fixed the water supply, but tried to tell me that the floor would be fine. I explained that the floor was going to be tiled with 18" tiles and the uneveness of the floor could not be compensated for with tile adhesive. They finally agreed and fixed this with floor leveler. Overall, I am satisfied with the final outcome, but I thought the work was a little sloppy. I might use this company again, but I expect a job to be done right the first time and not have to get them to return or convince them that what work they did was insufficient.

Justin from Lanier plumbing came out to my house to clear a backed up sink that I have been having problems with for quite some time. He arrived on time and was so nice and polite. He did everything he could to clear the pipe. He really worked hard, i myself would have been very frustrated but he remained cool and gave it his best shot. Although the problem was not resolved due the fact I needed a jet truck to come out and clear the pipes I would highly recommend Lanier Plumbing and would ask for Justin to return for any work that I would need. He worked hard and because he wasn't able to resolve the problem himself he referred me to another company that he knew had the right equipment and his charge for his service was more than fair. In fact, I was surprised that he didn't charge more for as hard as he worked. It's not often that you encounter a person or company that is just down right honest and down to earth.
