Description of Work: They have been doing our lawn Maintainance for years on all our properties (4 total). The labor turn over is excessive. New labor not trained well & too many unable to speak English. Labor crew seems to have ONE MODE of operation....get the job done as fast as possible regardless of outcome. When labor crew damages property it is not reported to the office or property owner.

Description of Work: I solicited bid from Landscape Management to provide a re-landscaping of my backyard around my new swimming pool. I was seeking soil and resodding of my entire backyard to enhance and shore up the pool; I also invited LMS to provide a proposal and landscape design for a larger decorative project (shrubbery, plants) around my pool, per their TV commercial offer. I had received very strong recommendation from a personal friend, but I believe that recommendation was based upon a personal friendship between my friend and the brothers that own/supervise LMS. I stopped by their business and talked to the supervisor in charge of new bids. I provided a draft w/ measurements of the work on which I was seeking bids (sod and soil work). An appointment was made for LMS to stop by the following week, but LMS was a no show. I called back a week later to confirm whether they still wanted to provide a bid. The supervisor said yes, and did keep that second appointment, but never submitted a bid nor even called to confirm that they would not be bidding. I feel like their unwillingness to be up front about their interest /availability, or even respect appointments cost me a couple of weeks, especially since I went to LMS first on referral. I feel LMS is only interested in large corporate or residential accounts, unlike the interest expressed in their television commercial. I did express in my bid request a sincere interest in a larger landscaping proposal than my immediate need (sod and dirt to shore up my new $50,000 pool), but LMS did not show the interest in providing a landscape design, unlike the suggestion in their TV commercial. If you seek a proposal for Residential work less than $5,000 from LMS, I would not assume LMS will keep their appointments or be up front about their intent to bid. I did find a few of their competitors (Greengate, Rome's, and Wilkinson) more courteous in being up front about their availability and intent-to-bid.

Description of Work: They did a complete lawn and yard overhaul on a big empty lot and another lot with a house that was very over grown.
