Tony always kept me updated as the project progressed. He even suggested some other ideas to make the house to look better and meet building codes. The wife was very pleased with the repair of the window molding. Also one of his suggestions to make the Kitchen Cabinets look a lot nicer with adding some molding across the top of the cabinets gave them a great appearance. He was professional through out the whole process. I highly recommend him for any small project that you are thinking about. He will give you a fair quote that will be hard to beat by any other contractor.

Tony did an amazing job turning an older house with many issues into a property that could be safely rented out. They did a lot of carpentry work, flooring, and remodeling of bathroom and kitchen. They provided detailed estimates and did high quality work. They were very helpful in working with me remotely and did a great job tackling the major issues.

This is the first time I had used Genesis Construction and I am very pleased with Tony Lacombs work, professionalism and customer focus. This job was not very large by contractor standards and Genesis Construction treated it lie it was a major project. It was necessary work that will lead to other improvements we have been waiting to do once we found a quality carpenter that we know we can trust and we have found that person. I would highly recommend Genesis Construction for your building, remodeling or small repairs.

I am very pleased with the work that they did. The main damage was in the 2 ea 20' beams and 2 ea 9' beams. They had to remove the vinyl siding on the joists and soffits and save them. The gutted had to come down and be saved also. The facial board had to be replaced. The fiberglass columns had to be taken down too. All the damage was replaced. He didn't do any unnecessary repairs that would have run the cost up. He confided in me as to what was going on with the job. He even made some good suggestions for better termite protection, and also added straps to the porch for hurricane protection, which I didn't have. He reassembled everything, reusing as much as possible (cause you can't get most of the items). It looks like brand new again. He is a very nice, understanding, professional, hard working contractor. I would use him again, and I recommend him to everyone.

As many jobs do, this one had additional things tacked on. The termite damage was more extensive than could have been seen before you opened the wall, so it took longer to complete the job. Tony Lacomb was up for the challenge, nothing seemed to rattle him and he tackled whatever showed up with expertise. He worked great with the timing of Termini showing up when they could in the middle of his work. He made the mess as painless as possible. He cleaned up every day before leaving, and was always timely, confident and cheerful. He and his helper were never in our way. I would call him again anytime I have a job. In fact, we thought we would paint the front entry and door, but have asked him to come back and finish that after his current job finishes. I would give Genesis Construction 5 stars all around.

The laundry room had been a porch many years ago; it was closed in to make a laundry room probably 25-30 yrs ago. Also, a half wall of brick had been added on the outside. The only way to repair it was either tear it off and start over or repair from the inside. The choice was made to repair from the inside which required creative solutions. This was not a job for a DIY weekend. The other part of the job was replacing windows in the living room. We chose glass brick windows that are much smaller and will allow us to install base cabinets with book shelves above. It also hides a view that is not very nice. As the windows were not the same dimensions as the old windows, it required construction of a wall, drywall, and siding on the outside.

Very good craftsmanship on the bridge and deck porch. Cleaned up the yard area where he worked each day before leaving.

Love these guys. They squeezed our job in when they had a cancellation, showed up promptly at 8, were very professional, and made a good-looking finished product in one day. They seem a bit expensive, but all renovation work seems expensive to me.

Very happy with service, the solution that was presented to me to fix my issues, the punctuality and work ethic of the carpenters, communication and price! I've had various jobs done around my home in the past and never really found a great contractor until I had the pleasure of hiring Genesis. Top notch company and personnel and I highly recommend and endorse them!

|The end result is a beautiful dining room and front porch. Tony, and his assistant Tim, not only completed the repairs that we requested but also corrected several problems that we didn't know we had. They did a complete walk around inspection of the house and pointed out some problems that were the result of shoddy work performed by another contractor in the past. | |Genesis Construction is a great company. Mr. Tony & his side kick ripped out all the sheet rock that was full of mold and replaced it w/ new sheet rock . He framed for a new bathroom & added a door. He floated all the sheet rock & cleaned all the mess. They did such a great job & where such good people. I have a lot of remolding to do on my house and will be using them a lot in the future.

The job was amazing! The job was scheduled within a reasonable amount of time. The job was completed in the quoted time and price. It took 5 days to complete and every day I came home the site was clean and everything was hauled away at completion. They even worked in the rain the last day to complete In the quoted time. They came back within a week to complete an additional request for electrical and installation of ceiling fans. I am extremely impressed with the quality of work. Molly and Tony were very professional and friendly. I will most definitely use them in the future and recommend them to anybody that may need their services. Everybody that has seen the completed project or pictures has been very impressed!

Each job was completed before the next job was started. Made sure each job was done in a professional way. Kept us involved each day with the goings on, on the job. Cleaned up at the end of each day and worked in a orderly manner. They always strived to make the finished work look good. We could tell Tony had years of experience behind him. He had to come in and repair poor and shoddy work performed for us by another contractor after Hurricane Rita. Now our home looks like a new home inside and are very satisfied. And to say the least they were both very friendly and courteous everyday.

Needed to have a small bathroom re-sheet rocked and replace baseboard and crown molding. Only a single cabinet and a toilet needed to be removed along with tear out of existing sheet rock walls. I would do the painting. The square footage of bathroom was approximately 30 square feet. He bid for it to take 5 days to tear out, hang and float and wanted to charge $3300.00 plus $250.00 for removal of debris. We priced materials with a home builder supply store and estimated the maximum cost to be around $200.00. That means he would charge $800 per day labor!!! Absurd! I have since found an individual to do the work in 2 to 3 days and charged me $500 plus materials.

This contractor is a pleasure to work with. He keeps the job site neat and orderly. He comes up with cost effecitve ways to repair dmage and solve problems. Shows up when he says he will and stays with the job even though there were many additions to the original scope. I will definitely be using him in the future.

I found that they were very pleasant and willing to do the job. He seemed neat and not lazy! They were also on time and cleaned up after themselves.

We decided not to use Genesis Construction because we got a better offer from someone else. They got back to me very quickly and they seemed very professional the short time that I spoke to them.

He did an excellent job with the work. He gave me some hidden hinges to where the cabinets do not slam shut. They just shut very slowly, like some kind of a hydraulic system. I did not even ask him to do that, so he kind of went out of his way and went a step above. He was very polite and very neat. I trusted him in my home while I was not there.

Everything went very smoothly. Any issues were addressed quickly and efficiently. Very professional!
