I would absolutely never recommend anyone rent from this company. Even though they told me the neighborhood was safe, there was an attempted break in, as well as a criminal incident across the street that involved the arrival of five cop cars. They were slow to respond to emergency pages (there was no emergency after hours number; only a page) and sometimes did not respond at all. I had a water pipe break on Saturday morning and they did not respond to the emergency page all weekend. The A/C was not equipped to cool the house down properly, and during the summer, the lowest I could get the temperature was 83. In the dead of winter, the house occasionally dipped below 60 degrees! Even after I had to terminate my lease, the nightmare was not over. Three months later, I received a letter from them, accusing me of owing them 650 dollars!!! The letter had been sent to a residence I had not stayed at for FIVE years! (Luckily an old roommate still lives there and gave me the letter.) They accused me of punching a hole in the wall, of not paying the last of my rent, and for cleaning. The girl who showed me the house KNEW about the hole that was ALREADY there and promised it would be fixed before I moved in (obviously, it never was). Tim Castle himself saw the hole while I was living there and promised it would be fixed. Well, not only was it never fixed, but "I" was accused of putting it there! They accused me of moving out 14 days after my actual move out date, and charged me 200 dollars for 'cleaning' even though I had forfeited a 400 dollar deposit for moving out before my lease was up. I left that house quite clean; I seriously doubt it cost them 600 dollars to "clean"! In short, no matter HOW low the price, please do NOT rent from Castle Real Estate! They even contacted a collections agency. I was hounded by phone calls 3-4 times a day ... for damage I did not do and rent I did not owe. Truly despicable, unsavory practices.
