+ -1 moreIt was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went very well. We are meeting again this week. I needed help doing all of that and she seemed the most competent at it. She is also cost conscious, which is nice. She charges $45 an hour because it is Angie's List; otherwise it would be $55.
Description of Work: I used MaryAnn McCoppin. She spent 3 hours measuring and photographing. She has been shopping for contractors because I am remodeling the upstairs, including the bathroom.

We covered a lot of ground in the 3 hours, and I feel certain I will be calling her again in the future. Super lady, and I would definitely recommend her.

Description of Work: Maryann met with me at my home and we discussed what issues I would like to address in my home regarding redecoration of the foyer and the master bath. No structural changes were involved. She was very informed and very enthusiastic. She listened to what I envisioned and now we are working on accomplishing a new look to my foyer and later to my master bath.

She painted a mural on my ceiling, that Da Vinci would call a masterpiece. She was very easy to work with. The work came in below budget, on time, and was very clean. She performed the work on her own, with very little assistance.

+ 0 moreI met MaryAnn and John through my sister-in-law who had used them to do a lot of faux finish in her house. MaryAnn came to my house on time for our first appointment and we decided on a faux finish for the master bath. She came back with her husband John a few days later and began to do the work. She and John were extremely reliable and always showed up on time.Their prices are very reasonable. They are extremely creative. That master bath was very difficult to do and they did a perfect job. Anyone who has work like this to do would definitely be happy with MaryAnn and John. Both lovely people, amazingly creative, and fun to work with. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Description of Work: MaryAnn and her husband John did wonderful amazing work for me!!! I couldn't be happier! I originally called them to do faux finish in my master bathroom. MaryAnn and I consulted and she helped me decide on what would look best. She also had some other great ideas as she walked through my house, like moving some pictures, etc, that made a big difference in how everything flowed in the house. She and John worked on the faux finish in the master bath. i was so happy that I decided to hire them to do some other work: Faux finish to a coral wall I had in the family room, which I am enjoying so much Painted an armoire that I had that was very blah looking--it is now absolutely gorgeous and I get so many compliments! They painted an old bakers rack I had that didn't go with what I had and made it look like a gorgeous antique They painted a pewter chandelier that didn't go with the rest of the house and made it bronze. I had an old wooden box in my office that was very old fashioned and had no style and MaryAnn painted it bronze with a beautiful design that made the whole room come together. It looks like something that was shipped back from a unique store in Turkey!

She does tough work, but she can do just about anything. She has so much energy. She has done so much to make my house beautiful. She is terrific and I was very impressed with her work. She is a shining light. She comes in and you know she is going to find out what you want and make it happen. She will also help you find out what it is you want, by sorting through the decisions, and she will help you find the right idea. It was a pleasure to work with her.
