Lowe's of Lafayette

I go to Lowes more than Home Depot.

The work was okay. They basically bring in a contractor or some guy that needs work who actually has his own business and says he is bonded and insured by Lowe's; which is good I guess. He did pretty good work, but he was a little bit nosy. I don't know who he was, but his eyes were watering a little too much for my taste. I would rather people keep their eyes on their work, get in, get it done, and get out. Do it with a smile and be done with it. This particular Lowe's has better inventory and at the time their customer service staff was more thoroughly trained and professional. The price was too much, but it was competitive. Their response was good. I've also installed an RF system myself that I bought from them. When we talked to Watch Premiere at the time Lowe's was handling their product. They told me to buy it there because I could save on the shipping and they were pretty nice about it which was cool.

The salesman was really nice. We had to make sure that we bought a refrigerator, a washer and a dryer from them. He made sure that we have a fridge that was going to fit in the place we have. He was not trying to sell us on the fridge that doesn’t fit. We were telling him what, we kind of wanted in the fridge and he took us in the direction of what we were looking for. He was very friendly. He didn’t try to sell us on anything that we didn’t need. With washer and dryer he helped us pick a high energy efficient dryer. He explained how that is different from the normal dryer or washer, he told us all the different features it had. We brought them in December. We spent $3000 for all of them. I would rate them highly across the board. I would use them again in the future.

They have had to come out here and fix things that they did wrong multiple times. I wasn't too happy with them. They gave us a fantastic price and great discounts including military discounts. It seemed to take a while to get the coordination. They sent out their sub-contractors. I thought they did a great job until the roofing company came in and was repairing trim around my windows because they were redoing it with the rest of the carpentry work. They took off the trim and the upper windows almost fell out of my house. All Lowe's had done was screw the frame of the window into the trim so I wasn't really happy with them. They improperly installed a glass block window in my bathroom. I have had that window replaced completely 3 times by 3 different sub-contractors. There was condensation. They did a half-half job. I would not use them for anything in the future.

Lowe's found a subcontractor to do this job. They did an excellent job. It took about a week and a half to put up the siding, He worked everyday, even on Father's day. He didn't drag his butt, he didn't leave a mess also he didn't drive his equipment on our yard to make a mess. He did a great job.
