We sat through the presentation. We were shown color samples for the shingles and metal roof. We were hoping to get a metal roof but didn’t really think it would be in our budget. When we were given to cost comparison to do both types of roofs, I was more than a little surprised at the high cost. We’ve lived in this house for 20+ years. The shingles were replaced about 11 years ago. The job then took about 28 squares. I asked the representative how many squares he figured the roof would be and was told 35 squares. As he didn’t get on the roof or measure the house, I asked him how he was able to figure the job. He told us he was able to get a measurement from satellite. Are you joking?! If we hadn’t had the shingles replaced in the past, we would have never known how many squares the house was. Come on. If you want to jack up the cost, try to have a better story.

They're very professional and prompt. They came out quickly to give me a quote, where some of the other companies did not. We're not sure if we're going to get the work done yet or not.

The doors were supposed to be a perfect fit. When the installers came I left them to install the doors while I went to my office to work. I heard banging and pounding which didn't seem right since the doors were supposed to be a perfect fit. I went to see what was up but all looked in order. The installers said that the door frame was not square, which I believe. its an old house and I was working on the frame myself in the past, but the old doors fit fine. So they finished and I inspected the doors and noticed that they were not evenly cut to my frame. So much for the perfect fit. A few weeks or a month latter I noticed the 2 of the doors were rubbing on the frame so I called twice for someone to come take a look. I was told they were busy and would get over when time permitted. Well the 1 year warranty is up and not even a phone call. I adjusted the frame myself to stop the rubbing. The quality to the doors are good. The quality of the work not so much.

Jim Olivier's Home Improvement Co came out to do an estimate for roofing and did a better job than the inspector that we'd had previously. He took photographs and notes that he showed us to let us know what was wrong with our roof. The plywood underneath is rotted and needs replaced as well as some problems with our chimney. He was very, very professional and I would highly recommend him. I will use him for my siding projects as well.

It was a big job. They seemed to have a good product but their price was way off base. I got quotes from three different companies but their price was double. They did a good job. A guy came out and gave a good presentation of their product but their price was too high for the same product that the others were offering. They were punctual because they came when they said they would. They were very professional.

They were courteous and wonderful. They were so quick and responsive. The job they did was absoultely amazing-- my windows look better than ever.

The windows were perfec job very well done. The interior doors we had some delays, Ms Olivier made all the arrangements And made sure the doors were perfect and they are.

There are still two roll down shutters that need to be installed but those are on order. The hurricane windows are worth the cost; you can touch them in the middle of a 100 degree day and they are cool to the touch. They kept us informed, very nice people answer the phone, they keep in touch with you, and the salesperson explained everything well. They told us about rebates and warranties that we are eligible for because they will break but they will not shatter. They are good for up to 130 mph winds and I think there is a 50 year warranty on them. The installers were very good, very neat, and very clean. They didn't talk much but they had good communication, and it only took one day to do the job. We are satisfied with them so far. It's hard to say how they are price-wise because we compared a lot of different types of protection.
