Description of Work: Sprayed trees for carpenter ants. We saw one in the house a week later and they came back and spayed around the house outside. Good job, very prompt and professional.

Description of Work: Termite inspection and treatment and pest control - initial treatment for mice with quarterly follow-up. Pest control guy was/is wonderful - helped me seal openings where mice might be getting into the house. He went the extra mile.

 + -1 moreI am still waiting to see how long it takes him to call me back to reschedule. Taking off half a day to be here for a service person who fails to show is so frustrating.
Description of Work: We had a scheduled appointment of 10am for which the technician failed to show. I called him and learned that he had locked his keys in his truck and said that my number was locked in his truck, but it was on his phone just like mine was from the day before we had called. Then he could not reschedule because his calendar was locked in his truck. No apology.

Description of Work: My home was invaded by Carpenter ants that were flying all over my windows and doors. I had 3 other companies in Lafayette treat for them on numerous occasions, all of which were ineffective and totally unsuccessful. J & J was recommended to me by a personal friend. They sent out a technician that was experienced in Carpenter Ants and after assessing what chemicals had been used by other companies, he explained why the treatments had been unsuccessful. They also located a major ant nest under a decaying Cedar tree that I did have cut down. J & J stated that after treatment if I saw so much as one Carpenter ant within one week to call them immediately and that they stood behind their work. It has been over 8 months and I have not seen any ants. They treated my attic, under my house and a storage shed in my backyard as well. I would recommend them to anyone. They were very professional and respectful of my property.The price was comparable to what the 3 other companies charged for their initial visit to treat for the ants. They also treated the inside of my home and I have had no insect problem there either since their initial treatment.

 + -1 moreI've been using Jand J Exterminating for nearly 4 yours. I get the same guy (Eric) every three months. He calls ahead and sets an appointment by the hour and shows up at that time. There is no 8am to 12pm. If he says he'll be there at 10am, he's there at 10am. Eric is very professional and friendly. Greets me by name and ask about my family. My dogs even know to look for a treat when he's around. Getting to his work, he is very thorough. Every corner and every baseboard is treated inside. He leaves no stone unturned. Same thing outside. He's courteous, thorough, and very professional.
Description of Work: J&J provides inside and outside bug protection, every three months. Also removes any wasp nest, and spider webs found. Upon request, also sets out mouse traps and bait.

The technician was not respectful of my schedule and would get upset when I needed to move my appointment. I do not plan on using them again; I was not pleased with them.

 + -1 moreThey're excellent and I love the people that come over, they have been very pleasant to us. My husband may have known the guy that comes over, as they talk and talk. We had some carpenter ants when we the put extension on our garage, and found them when we exposed the walls. They sprayed them. You call and they're out within the day. We have a yearly service with them, they come out quarterly, do a pest, and termite inspection. They automatically come out. We can call them if we have a problem and they come out. They are punctual, reasonable, professional, do what they say they are going to do, and are responsible. I give them high ratings and will use them in the future.

 + -1 moreThey are fantastic. There were no problems or issues with them. I spent $78 for their last service. We have kept using them because of their professionalism and punctuality. They provide service the same day. I don't see anything that they can improve upon. I do like the fact that they always call in advance. They will send you like an appointment card in the mail saying when they are going to come and at what time. They normally show up at that time. So, there are no surprises.
Description of Work: We have been using J & J Exterminating Co for pest control for six years now. Their last visit to our house was about three weeks ago. They spray inside and outside our house.

 + -1 moreThey send me a card before they come to let me know when they are coming and that I could be there on that particular date if there were any problems, and they would come in and take care of it. They will come more often if I needed them to but I haven't needed to call them out for anything. They are a South Louisiana company and know this area and the type of pests and insects that are native to this place and that are likely to cause problems. I think that I get a little better service in that regard than I would from a national company.
Description of Work: I use J & J Exterminating Company for pest control. They come by once every three months. They do the work outside and only come in if I ask them to do so.
