Kevin's price may be good but you get what you pay for. He is extremely unorganized. I don't think he actually set foot on my property. I had to direct his employees myself because they didn't understand what he told them. Three of the plants died because they got too much sun, probably because he didn't even look at our property. We had to replant two ourselves and when he replaced the other one (many months later) he planted it in the wrong spot. Using Kevin was the worst decision I have made in a long time.
Description of Work: We had Kevin install flower beds at our new house.

Met with owner, went over what we wanted, got estimate on February 17th, 2012. Owner seemed pleased to provide service. Gave us start date, march 10th. Had to call several times to ask when he would start since date given was repeatedly delayed. Was given excuse that they had several jobs to finish, even though when we met with him well over a month earlier, we were told that we were the second job on his list and that things were slow at that time of the year. Finally started job, all was going well. When job was completed, all looked fine. Several days later, had problems with irrigation system. Owner said he would be out that day to check it, never showed. Called again, was told someone would be out the next day. Was out that day for awhile, could tell someone had been here, but was told nothing. Had to call again. Owner came out, gave several possible reasons for problem. Said he would be back the next day to check again. Never showed and have not heard from him since. Also, weed prevention was supposed to be mixed in soil with several months weed prevention protection. By the following week, I was pulling large amounts of weeds out on a weekly basis. We did a small section of relandscaping on our own, separate from where this company did their work, we put in the same type of weed killer, and I have pulled VERY FEW weeds out since all this work was done. This tells me we were charged for something that was never put in. We can't prove this, but the weeds tell their own story. Also, after we figured out on our on what was going on with the irrigation system, several places on the tubing throughout the system have split. It now sprays on the bricks of the house and in the yard, not the landscaping. This is an under soil system, not pop up kind. Didn't bother calling owner since I couldn't get any responses from him on previous problems. I also had another contractor come out for an estimate on a different problem and the conversation came up about the landscaping. This man knew of him and said he's heard of complaints about him from other clients, so apparently, we are not the only ones with a complaint and once this guy gets your money, you get nothing more from him. So no satisfaction with work, service, and not getting all we paid for.
