Replaced broken glass in double pane aluminum window. They were very professional and polite.

We had to wait a few days to a week for the service, but that was OK.
The repairman came at the agreed-upon day and time, and replaced the glass, and the aluminum strip that had fallen off as a consequence of the broken pane, and did so in a remarkably fast time.
We are quite satisfied, and intend to use Dave's again in the future.

Dave's window were awesome to work with. Polite prompt service. Would use them again. The installers were polite and cleaned up after themselves. By far one of the better contractors in the area.

I called them for an extimate. They came out to measure the door. They got back to me with the price, I thought it was a little high, but I needed a sturdy, and safe door and they were well recommended to me.They came out and installed the door. They were very perfessional. They leveled the door and they were gone. It didn't take them long because they new what they were doing. It was fast and easy because they were perfessional.

The company came out the day they said they would and were right on time. They removed all the old windows without any damage to my house and installed the new windows all in one day. They even removed the glass and debris from the aluminum frames so I could take the aluminum down and recycle it. My yard was throughly clean when they finised the job.

One of my master bed room windows was fogged up and ready to be replaced. My contractor quoted me over 700 dollars to replace the entire window which is beyond my budget.
I have searched the Angie's List and found Dave's Windows and Screens. They came in and replace the window glass, plus 5 window screens under 300 dollars. They are polite, friendly also very professional. Quick and accurate. If anyone has a window problem, I highly recommend to contact Dave's Window and Screens first. It will save you a lot of cost and the outcome will be absolutely satisfactory.

We liked everytrhing about this company. The good experience started with the professional courteous estimater that came when we called for an estimate. Once we awarded the job to this company they kept us up mto date on when they would perform the job and when they did come their crew was extremely polite professional and efficient. We would highly reccomend this company to anyone needing work performed.

Called to get estimate and repair for a few broken windows. They came out promptly at the time indicated and within a couple of days the windows were taken care of. The team was kind and explained the process they had to go through, due to the fact that the windows are custom shaped. They were professional and kindly offered suggestion for other issues I was experiencing. I highly recommend them.

We hired this company after reading good reviews on here. I called for an estimate and in 2 days they came to measure and called us with a price the same day. We decided to go with them because of the price and speedy response. They came within a week of estimate and had our 8 windows put in in about 2 1/2 hours. They also did a fair job cleaning up and putting things back as they were. They made the whole experience of installing new windows pain free (I was expecting the worst). We will definitely use them when we are ready to replace the remainder of our windows in a few months. Would recommend them to anyone.

We had two other companies give us estimates before we called Dave's to come out. Once we received their estimate, it was comparable to one of the other two companies, but since they had been around longer, we decided to go with them. We also, did a door estimate. Replacing two standard doors and the third standard door would be converted to a French door. We decided to split the project up by doing the windows first and at a later date doing the doors. I placed the order for the vinyl low e glass windows, about a week later they called to schedule the appointment. Two days later they showed up at 7:30am to replace 11 windows and their crew was finished by 11am. They did a wonderful job carefully removing the old windows that were single paned with each window containing 12 individual square pieces of glass. They didn't break a single piece. Not that it matter, but it was impressive the care they took. They also looked at the wood around where the new windows would be placed to be sure it wasn't rotten and it was in good shape. Once the new window as put in place they made sure it was tight and not sticking out too much and then sealed it. I love my new windows and we are very happy with Dave's. They were recommended by several people we spoke with and Angie's List only confirmed what we already knew. Dave's was the best. We are still working on doors. They do not have a large selection of doors. They only have fiberglass doors for efficiency, which is fine because we are looking for energy efficiency. However, we want our glass frame to be flush with the door and ALL fiberglass doors have a frame around the glass that sticks out from the door. We are looking into wood doors that have a bottom piece that prevent water damage, etc... so that we can get the flushness of the window frame to match the door and also have the benefits of low e glass for the efficiency. I reported this because I received a message from Angie's list that other people were wanting information about Dave's Doors. If we weren't so picky about our door style, I would definitely go with Dave's. Their price was good and I trust their product and the years they have been around as a company. They came, took the measurements and gave me the price. They went over everything with me. I got exactly what I wanted. They went above and beyond. They made sure that the customer was happy with the product that they got. They had letters from people that were really happy with their service. I was more than happy with their price. They came on time and were very professional.

Received the quote and initial window measurement from Daniel Sonnier in May. The selling-points for the windows that Dave's offered were simple: Price, Presentation, and Features. Dave's "beat" the other guys' initial quotes by as much as $600 for the job, and Daniel's cool and confident sales presentation which did not even include mild bashing of competitors or punching the demonstration windows to show the "strength" of the glass and seal. (I opted for a tinted .018 low-e argon-filled window all-around.) He knew his product and had nothing to hide about his company's local reputation. The estimate price I was given had no hidden costs and was the price I paid upon job completion which included the cost of replacing any exterior wood which showed signs of decay. NONE of the other companies even mentioned that they could or would do this for me! I was called a week in advance to schedule my one-day appointment and was told that the crew would arrive for work between 7:30 and 8am. They arrived at 7:45 and quickly began to work. Having heard horror stories of aggressive "let's break some glass and leave it in the yard" removal of old windows, I was surprised to see the amount of care that was taken to remove the old windows, seat, seal, and properly caulk the new ones. By 3:00pm, the entire job was done, and I was given an interior and exterior walk-around inspection of the work performed. Flawless. I will continue to recommend Dave's for many years to come!
