BAYOU STATE INSPECTIONS

Our house flooded and we called James to come mold test after we had our house fogged for mold. He came over, talked on the phone most of the time, then hung up and bad mouthed the person he was on the phone with. Afterwards, took samples and our $1,000.00 and sent us a "failed" mold test. After pressing him, he said that it was not his problem that we weren't prepared and that our house wasn't fogged properly, and that he knew ALL this before he took our money knowing that we would absolutely fail. He said he would be willing to come back and take another $1,000.00 from us to do another test. Guess he is alright with stealing from flood victims.

I needed just a structural inspection on my home. He came out and looked around very carefully and gave me his opinion. Very quick and easy.

Once we contacted James, he had our inspection complete in a timely manner, but more impressive was the quality and detail in the final report. He did a three hour inspection of our new home and it was like he used x-ray vision. We had tons of pictures, details of what brand everything was down to even the garbage disposal, recommendations for future things to watch for (which is SO useful as newer homeowners), detailed descriptions of the conditions, and detailed cost estimates for repairs. We ended up using his list as a and quot;bibleand quot; for our new home to know what to prepare for and what to ask to be fixed prior to buying. Later that year, I emailed James with question regarding if he knew what the permitting regulations were for building a pergola. Not only did he reply within an hour with an answer, but he also gave me helpful hints and gave me a recommendation for the cheapest lumber prices. You can really tell that he's well versed in his craft and cares about the work he does. You won't regret going to him.
