Everything from the beginning to almost the end was professional and perfect. From timely quotes to friendly Installation and clean tech that picked up everything after their work. The issue is this company will quote you one price and then will come back and charger you more afterwards. My situation was I was quoted $2200 for open cell insulation in walls and blown in insulation in attic. After I had the open cell foam blown into walls I paid my bill. (You are required to pay bills in 2 weeks after service) they would like same day payment, which I was willing to do. I was told once I got the walls closed in and the ceiling in. They would come back and blow in insulation in attic. They did come back and I confirmed with them when I scheduled it I didn’t owe them any more. After, they completed the attic they sent me a bill for additional $1000. When I called to inquire about why, I was then confronted with the rude threats that they were going immediately to place a Lien on my house and submit me to the Justice of the peace if I didn’t pay immediately. It was extremely unprofessional, felt like a scam and again wanting more money after the job was completed than they originally quoted when they began the project. I would not deal with this company again because you will Likely receive a bill for additional money after your job is complete.

When I got a new A/C unit, several contractors recommended that I upgrade the insulation in my attic. I checked Angie's list to find a reliable company to get a quote from. I saw that Acadian Insulation had an "A" rating, so I called them first for a quote. The secretary was very friendly and informative. I told her that I was interested in an estimate to have insulation blown into my attic, she told me that it was not necessary to have someone come over to give an estimate because it would cost me no more than $750 to do that job. She than when about to tell me that they only came over to measure for quotes if it was foam insulation that was going to be installed. She also explain to me the reasons why I should consider the foam insulation over the blown insulation. She ask me for the size of my home, than said it wouldn't cost more than $2500 for the size of my home to install the foam insulation. I told her if that is all it would cost than yes I was interested in having Jason come over to give me an estimate on the foam insulation. Jason was punctual in coming over to the house where he saw what I wanted to get done. I made a comment to him about the strange conversation I had with his secretary and what she told me about the cost of what I wanted done. He told me that she didn't know what she was talking about with the prices and that it would cost more than what she told me. Anyway, I give him my email address so that he could send me the quote for foam insulation and the blown in insulation. Of course the quote was a lot more than what I was told it would be on the phone by his secretary. Another company give me a quote for the same job and the quote was half the cost that Jason quoted me for on the blown in insulation. I also asked this company about the quality of the insulation they quoted me for. I than went on line to verify he was giving me quality insulation. My conclusion was that Jason didn't want to do this job, and that is why he quoted me this outrages price. I would never recommend this company to anyone. He also needs a new secretary.

The job site was also clean and cleared of resultant debris. Working with me again around my job, his hectic schedule, more holidays and 3 freeze days, on Sat 2/8/14 the R-38 fiberglass insulation was blown in and the job was completed to my utmost satisfaction. I would use Acadian Insulators again and highly recommend them to anyone with similar insulation needs.

Everything was on time. Everyone introduced themselves (important), were friendly, capable and polite, and they were in and out in an hour and a half. I was very pleased and would highly recommend them.

I liked them; he seemed really nice. I decided not to do the job, but from the quotes that I got this would have been the one. He came out right away to give the estimate and did not blow me off. His quote was one of the lower ones, but he explained it in detail and gave me different options. He even followed up with a call.

Came in with the lowest estimate. Arrived at the time that was agreed to and even suggested lining the attic walls for an additional minimum price. Even with the cost of the additional space being added to the job, their estimate was still lower than other providers. Due to the fact that this is an occupied house, every surface of the room had to be draped in plastic. Job was conducted and completed in the time indicated on estimate. The team was helpful and very professional.

All the employees that worked on the job introduced themseleves to me and were very courteous. I had many wires in the attice going to security cameras, TVs, and phones and not one was damaged or cut during the job, which i was very grateful. They did not leave my house until i was completely satisfied with the outcome. I would use them again and recommed getting a price quote as well.

I recommend them. They seemed like good, hard working people. They were straight forward and followed up on what they said they were going to do. The boss would call to see how the work was going and make sure I was satisfied.
