We had a great experience with this company! Everyone was professional and hard working! Our house looks wonderful!

I used Strong Shield to replace the siding on my home, replace several windows and paint the exterior of my home. Cassio and the Strong Shield team was great to work with! Cassio is extremely responsive and always took the time to meet with me when I asked. He met every request I had, big or small, and made certain that I was satisfied with everything along the way. Cassio is professional, friendly and very accommodating. The crew working on my home, whether it be replacing the siding, replacing the windows or painting the house, worked very hard from start to finish and were professional, polite and very helpful. The quality of the work done is fantastic! I would use Strong Shield again and highly recommend them for these type services.

The customer service was very poor. They cancelled the first appointment at the last minute which caused me to miss an afternoon of work for no reason. The next appointment the person was over 2 hours late. They advised they would call the next day with the estimate and I have not heard back from them. There has been no follow up.

This was the single BEST experience that I have ever had when working with a contractor! I can not say enough wonderful things about Cassio and his crew. Our condo complex renovation was a daunting project, our building hadn't been maintained very well over the last 20 years and every surface needed to be replaced and painted. In my experience with contractors, especially when working on a large project such as this,they need constant monitoring. This was not the case with Strong Shield! Cassio, the owner of the company, is very involved with the supervision of the crew and excellent with communicating any issues or concerns with me. Cassio is extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of construction, he is a problem solver with great attention to detail. Both he and his crew were very professional and courteous. They went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was completed to my satisfaction. The condo complex looks beautiful and the work was executed perfectly. I feel like I hit the jackpot to find such an honest, skilled and hardworking group of people! His Office Manager, Robin, is also wonderful and very responsive. There is no other company(for this type of work) that I would recommend or use.

Strong Shield was great from the start. We had a rather large job & there were several changes during the process. We had a window company that did not follow through their promises & was going to leave my home exposed to the weather. Cassio & his team went above and beyond to wrap the house, especially around the windows to make sure that the bad weather that we were getting didn't get in our home. We were very impressed with his hardy crew. The 3 men worked 10-12 hours each day & the craftsmanship of their work was impeccable. I would definitely recommend Strong Shield to anyone & I would use them again.

Chris and the Strong Shield crew were very patient with us. New siding was a big investment and we took our time making a decision, but we never felt rushed. It took about three days for the removal of the old siding and instillation of the new. The workers very very courteous and Chris came by to check on the progress each day. The painting took another day, and the gutters took another day. There were a few problems to be fixed, and I had no problem getting Chris to fix them for me. My neighbors have gone out of their way to tell us how good our new siding looks. It looks like a brand new home!

We are very pleased with the work of Cassio and his crew. He gave us a very clear estimate, including a detailing of the events that could lead to increased costs for us. His pricing was competitive, and he met us on a Sunday morning at his office in Kenner to show us samples of HardiePlank siding. He thoroughly answered all of our questions, and then he did his best to try to get the work completed before we brought our newborn baby home. He prides himself on detail: when he discovered a section of our house was re-sided not to his liking, he tore that section off and brought in another crew to start over, entirely unprompted by us. Despite being quite detail-oriented, neither my husband nor I had noted anything amiss! Similarly, his paint crew recognized without our input that they would need a third coat of paint on one side of the house, and it needed to be hand rolled instead of sprayed on - this extra work happened quickly, and this did not lead to any extra expense for us. In fact, his ultimate charges for unforeseen costs were extremely reasonable. We highly recommend Strong Shield Siding.

Chris Jones, the salesperson, was great to work with. He was on time, professional and we had excellent communication. They finished the entire job in a matter of a couple of days and when done they cleaned up and left the yard in better condition than it was; which was a nice surprise.

Strong Shield was excellent! They worked hard once they got started and worked in the rain! I am very pleased with the results, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing siding work. The workers were very hard working and the owner was great with responses and questions. When I had any questions, the owner was very happy to help me. At one point, he said, "I will do anything to make you happy." I wish other workers in this area were as great to work with. While the workers could have been a little less messy, I think all construction work is going to be a little messy. They were extremely pleasant and friendly. I have no complaints, and again, I would recommend this company to anyone.

The Crew worked hard and fast with out sacrificing any quality. They would even work into the dark to stay on schedule. The house looks great. I highly recommend Strong Shield should your home or business need new siding.

I have some experience with doing this type of work having grown up in a family of home improvement contractors. So I expected to be critical of any contractors we interviewed. Strong Shield came recommended by a general contractor in the area, and I must say I was very pleased. We contracted for quite a bit of work with Casio Santos the owner of Strong Shield. Casio did an excellent job in all phases of our project. When we started, we knew there would be a few areas where plywood sheeting would need replaced. Casio managed this well, and the charges added to our contract were very reasonable. This was a challenging project due to the height of the side walls, and some areas had very tight spacing for any kind of scaffolding. Strong Shield did a great job in all phases of the project. They were very responsive with any issues raised, quickly responding and making adjustments when asked to do so. I highly recommend Casio Santos and Strong Shield. His team did a great job, and Casio was great to deal with.

It went extremely well. I was impressed how quick they removed old siding and installed plywood and waterproof material. The siding went up well, took maybe twice as long as demo, but from what I understand installing Hardie isn;t the easiest thing, especially when it's 4" reveal like mine is. The porch had to be reinforced with add'l joists to handle the Aerista decking, a great product by the way. The guys on the job were very easy to talk with about what was going on, did a good job of keeping everything neat and orderly while working. I would be really hard pressed and would have to get very, very trivial to find one thing about the whole process I was unhappy with!

I wanted to list my house for sale and knee I needed to replace the siding. Cassio came out as scheduled and recommended the most cost effective repairs that would make over the exterior. The work was high quality and they are very competively priced. The workers kept a clean job site and were friendly and professional. The office was responsive to any questions and the project was completed as scheduled. I would highly recommend Strong Sheild Siding and will use them in the future.

The exterior of my 1947 cottage-style house was the original, horrible vinyl siding that was on the house when I purchased it 20+ years ago, which was faded, always leaked and caused me many headaches. For years, I knew I needed to re-do the exterior and hoped that one day it would be with Hardie Plank. That day finally arrived. I got Cassio?s name from a friend who has used Strong Shield Siding for many projects. From the initial phone call and meeting to get an estimate, Cassio was informative, listened to what I wanted done, offered options and never tried to ?sell me something? I did not want ? overall a pleasure to do business with. I had also gotten an estimate from another company for the exact same work (they were slightly more expensive), but because of their ?high pressure sales pitch,? the choice was easy ? I immediately called Cassio and told him he was hired. I signed the contract at the end of August 2013. Work began shortly thereafter and lasted about 5 1/2 weeks. The crew was professional, punctual, cleaned up the yard and work area daily, and was very talented in coming up with creative ideas and solutions instead of just doing a ?siding job.? During the entire project, if I had any concerns or questions, Cassio was always available and/or would return my calls quickly, and was reassuring whenever my renovation worries took over. Upon completion of the job, Cassio did the final inspection with me and made sure that everything was done to my complete satisfaction. After all was said and done, I love how it all turned out and I now have the best looking house on the block! I would (and will) definitely hire Strong Shield Siding again to do exterior work for me and highly recommend them to anyone needing this type job.

I hired Strong Shield Siding LLC to replace my water-rotted cedar siding with James Hardie Fiber-Cement boards. I own a 1960s style ranch home that was in desperate need of new siding. I had seen Strong Shield Siding’s bandit sign in front of a home they were working on, and I put them on the short list of companies to get estimates from. I knew from my initial meeting with Cassio from Strong Shield Siding that they were the contractors for me. During the estimate (with my 4th siding contractor) Cassio asked the right questions and answered my questions knowledgably. He also posed questions to me that none of the other contractors had. Overall the price was reasonable, it wasn’t the highest or lowest estimate I had received, but I knew that I was going to get everything I expected from them. They were able to start within a few weeks of signing the contract, and the job took approximately two weeks to complete. The workers were professional and respectful. They left my yard tidy each night. I could easily contact them with questions, and they were quick to contact me back with solutions. Upon completion, Cassio met with me to do a final walkthrough. He was able to answer the few concerns I had with no issues. Strong Shield Siding provided the best experience with every encounter, from the initial visit through completion. I am very pleased with my siding, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of their expertise. I am looking forward to hiring them again in the future to redo my roof.
