Didn't receive service. They want $98 to come out and quote you on your issues without doing any work at all. Didn't want to give me a window for an appointment the next day or tell me when they were going to call to tell me what that window would be.

I was very pleased that they were able to service us on day 1. They went the extra mile for us and that was really great. They gave us the cost information on repair versus replacement. We chose the repair and they got right to it. Both their sales and service personnel were nice, polite and professional. Our A/C was back on by the middle of the day.

As stated above we have contracted with Surgi for maintenance every year since the unit was installed in 2011. Beginning in 2013 contract and continuing th 2015 Surgi performed one visit it seems based upon the contract dated 6 13 2013 which balled for 2 visits from June 2013 to June 2014. Then we had a visit in December 2014 after paying for 2015. And visits at all in calendar year 2015. I did make payment to continue the service into 2016. But I have cancelled after discussing the situation with Surgi and they agreed with me that it looked like they owed us 3 visits or more based upon their records. However despite 4 phone calls in December and each time being told that someone would get back to me and a lengthy email I sent to them on January 5 2016 no additional maintenances were scheduled. So I gave up. Our experience with Surgi has been unsatisfactory. We had to repair leaks in the plenum which as part of their proposal to provide us a new system was replaced and and guaranteed leak free. The leaks caused cold air to be leaked into attic which contributed to water dripping from the vents and condensation to form on the drip pan causing ceiling damage. On top of this the proposal called for Surgi to replace the emergency drip pan. We have since learned that the pan in place is in excess of ten years old at least. I wanted to discuss these items with Surgi before writing this review. But they simply would not respond. Just as a warning, we are seniors and after review of other maintenance contracts in which one pays in advance for a specified number of visits per year I learned that they are rarely fulfilled by the contractor. I have similar problems with 2 other contractors and I have resolved my issues with them with reimbursements. Overall this is a buyer beware situation with prepaid contracts. Just do not do them. Every month there are Angie's list suppliers who provide cleaning and maintenance checks. I have now started using these offers to handle my routine maintenance. Do not be confused by claims that the maintenance contract gets you discounts and speedier service. This was not our experience. The discounts were applied once in a while and repairs took as much as two months. I have settled with Surgi who read this review. He agreed that he was at some fault. He paid me for not performing maintenance in 2015 and for the charges relating to the faulty weld which caused the freon leaks.

They're excellent - they're the ones to call!

Arrived as scheduled and on time. Technicians were very friendly and courtesy and removed all trash, and put everything back in place. Job was completed in one day. The next day, Surgi's send out another technician to check on the system and to ensure we were completed satisfied. Also, received a 5% discount by being a member of Angie's List.

Presently its working good but at what cost?

Mike explained what they were going to do for my tune up. They were on time and professional. He explained how the system worked, he checked the pressures and cleaned the drains and the coils. Mike also was telling me about new a/c systems and how they could benefit me in the future. I would recommend these guys for your a/c work.

Called them when the AC went out and they were prompt in responding. Came to the house and evaluated the AC Unit - scheduled the work and installation was completed without any issues or problems. AC runs fine now with no problems. They cleaned up after the work was done and made sure the unit was working properly after installation.

He could not save out old A/C, so he made arrangements for us to get one early Monday AM. He was trying very hard to get us cool again. He wanted to make sure we had someplace to go the rest of Saturday and Sunday night until we had a cool house again. He chose the A/C that was right for us and we trusted him 100%. He has always been there when we needed him.

. He added freon to wrong unit, so both had to be serviced. The upstairs unit was cooling before but not the downstairs. He said both were leaking and parts needed to be replaced. The downstairs unit does cool but does not cool below 72 degrees. The upstairs does not cool at all and now makes a sound heard throughout the house and outside to the curb. Sounds like it is going to blow up. I called the company to tell them the unit did not do this before their work but the warranty period is only 30 days. Was told to find out what was wrong would be a $98.00 service call fee. To replace units would cost over $4000.00 each. It has been 48 hrs and the upstairs is still 91 degrees and during the day the downstairs is 72 but goes to what I need at night. My units are over 10 years old, however before this visit one worked and did not sound as if it would blow up, the other unit was leaking freon and had been replaced before but did work better. If your system is not broken already it will be after a visit from Surgi's.

They answered the phone call and they responded quickly. I think they did a good job. They did what they had to do. I thought it was expensive, but I don't know what the prices are these days. They showed up on time and came and did what they were supposed to do.

This is just a follow up -- 3 1/2 years later and the leak never returned -- job well done!

Found surgis on angieslist with great reviews. Had a salesman come out and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. I got a total of probably 10 quotes and surgis had the rest beat due to staff knowledge, price, and quality equipment. Install took a full day. The installers were great and extremely friendly, walked me through everything from start to finish, put down cloths to protect my floors and cleaned up their mess nicely once they were done. System works great and efficiently. Couldn't have asked for better. Definitely recommend to others. Great job.

I called after 4pm and they came out the next morning to repair my system. They tested it and found it needed some replacement parts and had it up and running within an hour.

went well, knowledgeable technician. required 2 visits, they did not have the part.

They worked on the heat pump and solved a basic problem but it needed more work. They came by several times, telling me what needed to be done and that the home office would. I said fine, just give me a call. Many calls, promises from the "Owner" that they would get back with price but never did. If the "Owner" decided he did not want to do the work, he could have at least said he did not want to rather than saying over and over: "I do not know why my guy did not give price to you", I am the owner and I will make sure that we will get back with you on price" and "I promise we will do it right". They claimed one of the office people talked to his wife but she never talked to anyone on phone after first call for service. Even one of technicians said he could not understand why we could not get price since i said price was not concern, I just wanted quality work. Poor grade is based on the terrible customer service of the man who kept saying "I am the owner and will insure you are handled right" Obviously their way of handling right is to string people along.

Work went very well, everything was done as stated and work crew was extremely professional and helpful. All old materials were removed, areas cleaned up, and inspected.

A technician from Surgi's arrived within 2 hours after I called. The technician was very knowledgable and was able to find the problem very quickly. I thought the price was a little high, but nothing is cheap these days. Overall, I am pleased with the service and the prompt response to my phone call.

My AC went out one afternoon and I called Surgi's the next morning. They came out later that day and replaced a capacitor. They didn't have the part on hand but the repairman drove across town to pick up a replacement part. That fixed the problem although a few weeks later it went out again and the same person had to come out again to replace the compressor fan motor. In both cases they were very responsive and came the same day I called them. The service person was nice and explained everything clearly. I had to ask them to waive the charge for the service call the second time (which they agreed to do). Looking at the price for the parts online, the mark-up seemed a little steep, but considering how quickly they came out and that they didn't charge separately for labor, I was very satisfied.

Had a coincidental double failure of my condenser with a burned contactor then a circuit board failed a week later. Surgi's fixed both. Two different service calls. At first, I had trouble believing that the first repair somehow didn't cause the second one. But it appears that it wasn't the case. I did have to pay the $99 call out charge both times which I wasn't too happy about. But at least my AC appears to be working fine. Surgi's does not work after 5:00pm. So you will not get service after hours. I felt the cost of the components were steep but you are at the mercy of the technician. Overall they did find and resolve the problem. I rated a B on professionalism due to the first service tech was not very professional, but the second one was great. As well as the front office person. He was very good and courteous as well.

It went well. On time, more or less. Came the day after called. Worked steadily with no goofing off. Seemed to know exactly what he was doing. also, pleasant and wxplained tings and answered numerous questions from me.

I like the fact that they are usually able to come out the same day and diagnose the problem and fix it within 24 hours. They are a bit expensive but it is because of the expensive parts.
