Long story short I manage a lot or real estate so last week I called for service. I was told the owner Harold would visit the property in Mandeville and call with a quote. A week has passed, and I hadn't heard back from Gator Sand so I called for an update. I was simply blown away by the level of unprofessionalism I was met with by the girl who answered the phone. ( when asked she refused to give me her name) She was nothing but rude, short ( I felt attached) and she couldn't be bothered to even pull my file. I did tell her "sounds like you're having a bad day" she then responded with such venom I asked to speak with someone else. She then slammed the phone in my ear. This rudeness was pushed further when she called my office back and told my assistant Harold told her to tell us find someone else. ( We had already done so) I manage 150 + properties and deal with companies daily and trust me I will never recommend this company to anyone. They are nothing but unprofessional and rude. Any business owner who allows their staff to mistreat potential clients like this do not deserve anyone's business. Horrible to deal with and terrible in their business practices and their ability to hire well balanced and component staff. F-

They performed a video inspection of the plumbing, included with the service and provided a copy of the video. The estimate was for two truck loads. The team that performed the work were right on time as scheduled and were very pleasant and friendly. They completed the work, only using one truck load and washed and cleaned the area before leaving. The invoice was half of what we expected due to using one load instead of the planned two. Every time I called their office the staff is very pleasant. I find it was a pleasure doing business with them and will continue to do so next time I need their services.

I spoke with Ali and Mr. Harold on the phone, both very friendly and informative. The guys who showed up to do the work were actually early. Love that. Everyone I dealt with was professional and smiling. Thank y'all for a good job.

They took the job and made us fill out forms to confirm the payment and for the project manager to be on site. When they came out to do the work, they looked at it, let us know they couldn't do the project, and then they left.

I called the office for an estimate and couldn't have been more impressed with the owner and his staff. They answered all my questions and sent a representative out to my house to do an estimate. Although I didn't have them do the work, they were very professional, very informative, reasonable and clearly very knowledgeable. As well, the estimate was very fair. I would highly consider using them in the future.

Couldn't have asked for better service. Visit for estimate was prompt and well explained. The family in the house next door to ours also contracted for the same service. Turned out that our house did not need as much sand as predicted, so the final cost was for the actual amount used -- half the estimate. The other house was much worse than ours so the final cost met the estimate but in no way was more than that. Arrival was on time, clean-up performed as promised. This is a big job that requires heavy equipment in the street but completed in one day per house so not much fuss or muss. Homeowners across the street watched the performance and are now contacting Gators to pump sand under their own houses.

It was done very fast, completely and in a perfect professional manner. They restored around my house better than it was when they started. Harold, the owner, came by and talked with me several times before and the day of the work. It made me feel like I was a member of their family.

They were fine. They came when they said they were going to come. They did what they said they were going to do. No surprises. We don't like surprises. We've had enough surprises. The price was normal.

Gator Sand Pumping showed up bright and early and started working immediately upon arrival. The team was friendly and glad to answer any questions I had about the process. They did an excellent job and completely cleaned up the job site before they left - which is quite challenging with sand!

It looked nice. It did not look like someone just threw dirt against the house. The two men were very nice and answered all my questions. They also cleaned up when they were finished

Everything went smoothly. They came when they told us they would be there, completed the job quickly, and cleaned up the excess blown sand from the sidewalks and grass. I would use them again.

I couldn't be any more pleased! The entire process from estimate to clean up was very professional and easy to do business with. Everyone was polite and kind. They crew showed up first thing in the morning and I received a call a few hours later that they were done and had left. Final bill even came in lower than the original estimate! When I went home at lunch to check on the work done, I was so relieved to see that they had left the premises even cleaner than when they arrived. Thank you to everyone involved. I had quite a bit of time finding a sand pumping company that would even give me an est. but Gators came out dead on time and was just a few bucks higher then the low bid. I liked their punctuality so I called to book the job. The scheldler said they were prety booked up and I explained how the and quot;otherand quot; guys had put me in a bind with a concrete poor. She and the team at Gators wedged me in in a few days. The crew showed up and the called me at my job. I took off to observe the proses. The team was vary profesional and listened to what I found and were to fill. They set up fast and began by excavating enough room to fit the gear under the chain wall. They then filled the void. They even filled a gofer hole I found at no charge. After all the pumping was done they cleaned the over spray from the walls and packed up. from start to finish was a few hours and I gave them the balance on the bill.

I contacted them because my neighbor had referred them ti me. Another contractor had quoted me a price of $2400 for them same job and I did not trust them. Gator sand pumping was prompt, professional, and reasonable.

Excellent. We were kept informed every step of the way. The work was done quickly and professionally. I would not hesitate to recommend this firm. By the way, Harold's Plumbing LLC is the same firm.

He didn't try to oversell me and the price was much more reasonable. Other companies told me it would be $2500 or more. This company was absolutely honest and professional. Everything went smoothly and easily and he didn't destroy any of the flower beds or anything.

For the purposes of this explanation, Gator's Sand Pumping, L.L.C. will be referred to as "GSP". I placed an order with "GSP" for 15 cubic yards of river sand to be delivered to my home. I paid $325.00 for the order, and "GSP" delivered the sand without my presence. Upon arriving at the property, however, it was obvious that "GSP" did not deliver 15 cubic yards. We measured the pile of sand and took photographs as well. The measurements of the pile taken before spreading (5 ft. high, 10 ft. diameter), and the measurements taken after the pile was spread (40 ft. x 4 ft. x 1 ft.), was actually closer to 6 cubic yards in overall volume when calculated both as a cone before spreading and by rectilinear measurements after spreading. I was then put in a position of having to locate another supplier of sand under exigent circumstances, particularly since I had already arranged for and hired men to perform the labor of spreading the sand, and faced a substantial cost of re-hiring labor on another day if the entire load of sand was not available to spread. I did, in fact, locate another source of sand but had to pay a premium price given the short notice. It should be noted that the amount of sand delivered from the second supplier was 12 cubic yards, and was roughly twice in amount in comparison to the amount of sand delivered by "GSP". I contacted "GSP" on this week, explained the situation, and requested a full refund. My request was denied by "GSP", arguing that they had inspected the delivery truck leaving the yard and confirmed that it was carrying 15 cubic yards. Of course, my argument remains that the truck may have left the yard with 15 cubic yards, but it obviously did not arrive at my property with 15 cubic yards. My attorney has since then sent a letter on my behalf, demanding a full refund. I have not received a response for over three weeks.
