Description of Work: JOB #1: They installed 4 custom made iron handrails to my outdoor concrete stairs, pressure stripped the old paint from the stairs, patched the cracks and repainted the stairs. | |JOB #2: They fixed a sizeable hole in my dining room ceiling (from storm damage), stripped the wallpaper, smoothed out walls, and repainted the entire dining room. | |Job #3: They fixed water damaged sheetrock in the staircase area, resurfaced and repainted area. | |Job #4: They removed medicine cabinet in restroom and installed a new one including all electric wires (I purchased cabinet separately). | |Overall, the job was done in a timely fashion, and the quality was top-notch. SES was the third estimate I had received for this work. They outbid the competitors considerably. Would highly recommend for top quality work at a reasonable price.

Description of Work: Did not get proposal as promised. Called office 2 wks later to inquire. 2 wks later recd proposal but it did not include all the project we discussed. Called office back. It took 2 wks and another phone call to get the response that there was no way to know if the other project could be done until demolition on the main part was performed. Chose another excellent contractor. Proposal recd quickly, no drama, no extra phone calls, project nearly complete!

Description of Work: I contracted with SES to convert a walk-in closet to a guest bathroom. From the moment the estimator, Perry, arrived I knew I'd made the right choice. They have a passion for old, New Orleans buildings, and making sure modern fixtures fit the character of the building. They are profession, polite, and punctual. I'm definitely using them again.

Description of Work: I highly recommend SES, and if we do any more renovations will definitely use them. They completely redid our full bathroom, replacing drywall, cabinets, and flooring. They listened to what I wanted and made it happen. They worked quickly and professionally. We did have one area that need to be touched up, and they were quick to come in and resolve the issue. They clearly take pride in their work and we are very satisfied with our lovely bathroom.

Description of Work: I am kicking myself for not going with this company. I was very impressed by the punctuality of the estimator and the professional quality of the estimate to paint the entire exterior of my home. The job also involved repairing and replacing some siding, fascia, etc. At the time I received the estimate, I thought the price was too high. I am now regretting trying to save money by going with another contractor BIG TIME. I am now having to supervise every excruciatingly slow step of the process just to get very average workmanship and zero peace of mind. I hope this helps someone avoid making the huge mistake that I made.

Description of Work: My bathroom was suffering from mold and water damage. The floor was rotting. Ses had done a stellar job on other repairs to our aging shotgun double, so we knew who we wanted to hire. Ses is good, so it took a while to get an estimate and on their schedule. The work went pretty much on schedule, considering we needed destruction, construction of floor, walls, tiling to save us from future rot and give the room a nice twenties vibe, plumbing, electrical, and painting. Ses was very polite and helpful. The best room in the house is now the bathroom.

Description of Work: They gave an estimate on some small roofing and mill work jobs as we were about to list our old house in 2012. Their estimate was a little higher than other companies. The one thing that I really did not like about this company was they asked for a positive feedback on Angie's list in exchange for a discount. WT..? I decided to look for someone else.
