Description of Work: They completely refurbished a very large wooden gate with a steel frame and hinge. They had to align the gate so that it would catch on a magnetic lock and hold - no small feat!

Description of Work: Be sure to read their initial invoice carefully. I asked for an estimate for several things, but the biggest job was to remove my old balcony and build a new one. When they stopped the job after ripping it out to the studs did I notice it said, "Determine best design for new balcony and price accordingly." They determined building a shoddy wood railing that warped in two months was sufficient but only after they charged me another $1755.50 to do so. The base of the balcony was well built though. This is what a building inspector said about the fascia wrap they installed. "The fascia wrap on the rear balcony is very wavy and not installed correctly. Recommend securing as needed by a qualified person. I also had to hire someone else to reinforce the wood railing SES Enterprises put in. That entailed twice the lumber than the original railing they installed. The guys that did the drywall work and painting are very skilled. One guy on the team did housekeeping for the most part so the house was clean at least, but not a huge priority considering what I was paying them to do. Most of their workers do not speak English which wasn't a problem while the foreman was there to interpret for me, but the last day they only had two workers there I couldn't communicate with. I wish my Spanish was better. There were a few things that remained unfinished. On the plumbing estimate they quoted me a repair of $5,822.00 to pull out all the plumbing and reconfigure it because they said the water was running uphill on the second story bathroom. (side note-I hired someone else that simply got a brace from his truck and pulled up one pipe which fixed everything. No charge.) I also had them replace a few deck boards and they did except the one I really needed as it was warping upward. They nailed it down one one side and said that would do it. I was unsafe pointing skyward after a couple of months. I waited for them to take the unopened, unused supplies for a few weeks but they never came. The last time I saw anyone, it was for them to tell me to give a good review. I told him about the things I needed them to finish and never heard from them again. I am very disappointed with SES Enterprises.

Description of Work: So far they have been excellent. The contractor came out on time and sent the estimate in a timely fashion. Once the price was set I was contacted and was sent what was needed to be picked out by me and a list of providers that would be able to provide the materials I needed. I was kept informed all through the process. I was very impressed with their thoroughness. The work has not been done as yet, but I expect their work to be as great as they are to work with

Description of Work: Felt compelled to write a positive review on this company because they have live personnel in the office to discuss the projects I want an estimate on, and were able to set up an appointment during the initial conversation. It was refreshing to have someone able to answer questions in a professional manner on my initial call and also to confirm our meeting this week. We will update our review again after any work provided is completed. Waited several days for one of their competitors to return my call, therefore SES is already a top contender for our business.

Description of Work: Repaired siding. Mr. Sanne was very punctual. The job was easier than he thought so he was honest and fair and reduced the price from the estimate.
