I returned from vacation to find that the cover on our attic fan had blown off.  You could see the sky through the hole in the roof.  I called SES and explained the emergency.  They were here within hours and made the repair.  It rained within 24 hours and the attic was completely dry.

    The job went very well.  My problem started with the lights in the living room, dining room, breakfast room, the porch and the front of my bedroom going out.  When the electrician came out he said that he would have to search all of the wires to find out the problem and fix it.  I was given a quote for electric inspection - troubleshoot and repair for $550.00. I was also told that should the problem be major they would stop progress and quote any additional work.  When they came out to trouble shoot I was told they would need to run new circuits to where the power was off for $1,920.00 and to rewire the whole house would be $7,440.00.  I chose to go with the run the new circuits. The electrician came to start the work on Friday.  All he did that day was take off all of the old outlets and was going to come back Saturday and run the new circuits.  On the Friday work he did not touch any wires in any other part of the house where the lights were working.  That Friday night, before my son went to work, he called to tell me that the lights toward the front of the house that the lights in the  bathroom, other bedroom that did work were only coming on very low.  However in the back of the house the lights that were still working were like floodlights and the ceiling fan was going so fast that the ceiling was shaking.  When I was going toward the front of the house I noticed that  the chandelier was on and the front porch fan and lights were working.  Those were two of the places where the lights did not work before.  Then, I smelled burning in my bedroom and couldn't find where it was coming from.  It was about 9:00 P.M. and I did not know what to do.  I called the owner of SES and he called the electrician who came over within a half hour.  The electrician said not to turn on the lights that were like floodlights because when he drilled to take out  the old outlets that with an old house like mine the drilling may have cause some of the wires to knock together.  He found where the burning was coming from in my bedroom.  It was an outlet with a red light on next to it.  This was in the part of my bedroom were the lights were not working so it should not have had a red light on the outlet.  He then went to flip switches to see which one would turn this outlet off.  The switch that he flipped to turn off the outlet that burned  was one of the switches to the other part of the house where the lights were working so the outlet that burned should not have been on that switch.  He told us to leave everything like that and they would be back in the mornng to fix everything. The owner of SES called later that night me to make sure I was all right and safe which was very thoughtful of him.  On Saturday they did the job of running the new circuits.  The electrician said that all of the wires in my house were together.  The work that he did had the new wires that were separate from the others.  He showed me some of the other wires in  my basement that were live and could catch fire.  I decided to have my whole house rewired and they did a wonderful and detailed job.  I can't say enought good things about this company.

The contractor showed up when they said they would, they stayed on the job until it was done.  There were multiple crews from the carpenters, to tile people to the painters.  They were courteous, efficient and professional.  SES did everything they said they would and in a timely fashion.  

I was comfortable letting them work in my home while I was at work. They moved the furniture when they needed to and put things back when they were done.  They cleaned up after themselves and took care so as not to cause any property damage.  

While they did an excellent job, what impressed me more was some of the little things they did; like patching a nick in a wall (done by me years ago) or installing a screw here or there where it was needed, just because they saw it and had the tools out. Completely unexpected and muchly appreciated.

While they worked quickly they didn't rush and the end result was nothing short of professional, as if this was their own home. I've already had multiple family members ask me for their contact information.

I was very satisfied with them.  They provided great service and I would use them again.  They did a great job.

Job went slowly. Contractor was very busy and did his best. I was fairly compensated for delays. Overall, I would use this contractor again as he operated in good faith and did a job that was worth more than I paid.

It went very very well....I consider them one of my first calls if I have a job to be done.

My experience with SES was excellent. I called SES to get an estimate on adding a new electric outlet (and wiring) and to install a new oven/stove. The receptionist made an appointment for the next afternoon but Shawn, the owner, was able to come earlier. He was able to assess the work needed and got me an estimate within an hour. We scheduled the work for the next afternoon. Again, they were able come early, and it turned out that they needed to, because the job was more complicated than we anticipated. Shawn and his electrician worked for several hours, but they got the job done and it was done right. But the most impressive thing about them was that they stuck to their original quote. It is rare contractor to do this and I was pretty blown away by it. Shawn is a man of his word and I thank him.

Very polite phone manners; showed up for estimate as promised; when we voiced concern about door installation, they came back to make sure everything was ok and that we were pleased.  Very cordial and easy to work with.  We love our new front door and all the work they did was great.  They did it in about 2 days.  We were happy that they listened to our concerns.  Would definitely use them again.

SES started the work on the day promised.  Crew was professional and experienced.  We were so impressed with the siding and roofing work, we had them come back out and replace the gutters.  The house looks great and we are satisfied customers.  We would not hesitate to recommend SES to family and friends.   Great work at a reasonable price!

The work went very well.  They stayed in close contact about the start date and worked with us when we needed the work completed on a time line because we had guests arriving.  They began the work promptly and enthusiastically on the start date which they provided and were timely in arriving each day.  They worked very hard and made substantial progress every day.  They were so well organized that they managed to get a certain group of workers to arrive the day that the particular kind of work needed to be completed.  For example, they needed to cut into drywall to install plumbing for the laundry closet and did the cutting the first day, then the plumbing work within two days of that, and then returned the dry wall crew to replace the drywall, and then brought the painting crew promptly after that to paint the repaired area.  The carpenters were wonderful about working around our schedule and worked really hard, including staying until almost 10 pm one night when they were finishing up.  Where certain facets of the work needed changing, Shawn was very responsive and the changes were made promptly.  They needed to bring a dumpster to haul away all of the debris from the demolition of the two sheds and they left it here for the shortest time possible and kept all of the mess pretty well contained in the dumpster.  All of the SES employees were thoughtful, courteous, and professional.  The work they did is excellent.  The style of the laundry cabinet is perfectly in keeping with our 1920s house and is really sturdy.  In fact, they even made one of the sides of the closet removable so that the laundry machine or dryer can be removed and replaced easily if needed.  The deck is similarly well made, and it's a pleasure to sit out on it each evening (which we do!).  In planning the work, Shawn carefully considered and accommodated all of our various wishes for the project, and the result is better than we could have hoped for.  We are very pleased with the work that SES did for us and have already asked them to return and do more work. 

They have done all kinds of work for me, and they have been great. Shawn is the owner of the company, and he always does what he says he is going to do. The prices are good. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

It was excellent service from start to finish. We've called on Sean and SES before and, as always, they respond quickly to our request, give a fair and reasonable estimate, and come out and do the job quickly, diligently, and professionally. The work force is super, working until the job is done. Even with some extra tasks added to the job, the price remains fair and reasonable and well done! Will definitely call again!

Shawn and his crew were great to work with! I had initially planned to use Lowe's for the installation because that is where I purchased the tile. When they came out to make the estimate they took one look at the existing bathroom floors and refused the job, unless I would let then re-tile the walls, as well, which I could not afford! I found SES on Angie's List, gave them a call, and Shawn came right out. He looked at the job, told me it would not be a problem at all to replace the flooring tile only, and was able to start 2 days later! His crew was pleasant to work with and they did an excellent job. I highly recommend SES and I would absolutely use them again!

We were extremely impressed with the time and care that was spent on the details of this work. Not only was the woodworking beautifully finished but the exterior paint job was incredible. Every nail hole, seam, joint was caulked and sealed. The front door was sanded and sealed to perfection. The wood grain on the front door stands out and creates a wonderful fabulous entrance into my foyer. Communication with Penny and Shawn was easy and very much appreciated. We will use SES for more projects in the near future.

Shawn and his crew were fantastic. From the time I contacted SES on Angies List to the time the work was completed was all in about a weeks time which was fantastic. Shawn was extremely professional and thorough. His crew was very respectful of our property and my family which was very important to us. They painted 6600 square feet of the interior of our home, using 4 different colors and they did a fantastic job. Work was completed in just 3 days and then they cleaned up all of their supplies and left my house looking just as clean when they left as when they arrived. We are very pleased overall and would recommend SES for any interior painting job. We would definetly use this company again.

Recently purchased home & was getting water in back closet after hard rains. Installed sub surface drainage system, but still would get water in closet. SES Enterprises came out and figured out problem - rotted wood in frame & past attempts (by previous owners) of sealing not working. Work was completed in a VERY timely manner. Very professional and courteous. Will definitely use for future home upgrades and repairs!

From the start, Shaun (the owner/contractor) was excellent to work with. Before work started, he explained the process to me, and provided recommendations and options that I wouldn't have otherwise considered. He was constantly on-site, receptive to feedback and providing updates on the work. His team was courteous and hard-working. The work was done very quickly, despite the fact that the Mardi Gras holiday was right in the middle of the work schedule. On top of the flawless job done, his team went beyond expectation by painting some trim around the siding which wasn't part of the original specification. All and all, you won't go wrong with SES.

Everything went well overall. I do suggest that the consumer be sure what they want before hiring a company and do the research on products and know the end result you have in mind. It saves time and money. We will hire SES again to tile our second bathroom. They also put in a new wall in one bath. They were very open to negotiation when we decided upon ceramic tile.

It was an urgent matter because the roof was in bad shape. They gave excellent service and showed up with in 1 day to do an estimate and were out the next day to start the job. I feel like their price was fair as well.

Everything worked out well and I would call them again for other jobs. They do more than just roofing repairs.
