The job went very well. My problem started with the lights in the living room, dining room, breakfast room, the porch and the front of my bedroom going out. When the electrician came out he said that he would have to search all of the wires to find out the problem and fix it. I was given a quote for electric inspection - troubleshoot and repair for $550.00. I was also told that should the problem be major they would stop progress and quote any additional work. When they came out to trouble shoot I was told they would need to run new circuits to where the power was off for $1,920.00 and to rewire the whole house would be $7,440.00. I chose to go with the run the new circuits. The electrician came to start the work on Friday. All he did that day was take off all of the old outlets and was going to come back Saturday and run the new circuits. On the Friday work he did not touch any wires in any other part of the house where the lights were working. That Friday night, before my son went to work, he called to tell me that the lights toward the front of the house that the lights in the bathroom, other bedroom that did work were only coming on very low. However in the back of the house the lights that were still working were like floodlights and the ceiling fan was going so fast that the ceiling was shaking. When I was going toward the front of the house I noticed that the chandelier was on and the front porch fan and lights were working. Those were two of the places where the lights did not work before. Then, I smelled burning in my bedroom and couldn't find where it was coming from. It was about 9:00 P.M. and I did not know what to do. I called the owner of SES and he called the electrician who came over within a half hour. The electrician said not to turn on the lights that were like floodlights because when he drilled to take out the old outlets that with an old house like mine the drilling may have cause some of the wires to knock together. He found where the burning was coming from in my bedroom. It was an outlet with a red light on next to it. This was in the part of my bedroom were the lights were not working so it should not have had a red light on the outlet. He then went to flip switches to see which one would turn this outlet off. The switch that he flipped to turn off the outlet that burned was one of the switches to the other part of the house where the lights were working so the outlet that burned should not have been on that switch. He told us to leave everything like that and they would be back in the mornng to fix everything. The owner of SES called later that night me to make sure I was all right and safe which was very thoughtful of him. On Saturday they did the job of running the new circuits. The electrician said that all of the wires in my house were together. The work that he did had the new wires that were separate from the others. He showed me some of the other wires in my basement that were live and could catch fire. I decided to have my whole house rewired and they did a wonderful and detailed job. I can't say enought good things about this company.

The quoting process did not go as well as with another company so I elected not to use them. The estimator came promptly at the time we had scheduled and was very professional and knowledgeable. However he told me he would have my quote available on a certain date and did not meet the deadline. So I had to call him to get the estimate and noticed that some work that needed done was omitted. He said he would re-estimate and then missed the second deadline to get the estimate to me; so that was that; I decided not to use this company. The estimate was on the high side of the estimates I got.

The experience was fine. It took a little bit longer than they had originally said. They gave us what we wanted, so the quality was fine.

They were very professional and I was very happy with them. The job was fine. They were financing the roofing and that is why I am dealing with them.

My overall rating is A. My roof was leaking somewhere I couldn't identify and dripping through the ceiling next to an A/C vent. Shawn from SES immediately responded to my initial call and promptly provided an estimate for identifying the source of the leak, repairing it, and renailing a fairly large number of lose shingles. The quoted price was fair for the amount of work and the unknown source of the leak. I rated SES a B on responsiveness only because there was a time lag between the estimate and when SES could schedule the work. When Shawn came to do the work he was efficient, fixed the source of the leak, and completed the other work he had included in the estimate. I will use SES again for home repair.

SES Enterprises, LLC was terrific. Sean the boss of the crew knows what guys to pick for what job because these guys were excellent drywall people. The quality was excellent and the price was good. Their responsiveness and professionalism were excellent as well.

When they came out they were very good and left a good impression. They were professional, thorough, and organized. I had three other estimates from other people, and this company's bid was almost double the amount of the other companies. Granted, they were also the farthest away so that may have played a part. He did answer all my questions very well and called a few days ahead of time to confirm the appointment. It was somewhat difficult to set the appointment, I think, because of the distance factor, but other then that, I was impressed with them.

I had a little trouble getting a date set, but once set, they were right on time and performed a great service. Very impressed and satisfied.

I called SES to come to the house and give us a price for our project. They emailed me the price about 5 days later. I responded to their email that we wouldn't be working with them because of the cost. I received a thank you email to my email. About a week ago zip received a call asking if we were interested Iran their services, I explained that Teir price was too high and that I had already conveyed that to them.

I had called several vendors; however, SES gave the best estimate and follow through with the work. Where the interior ceiling was repaired and painted, the color was a little off. They came back and did a better match. Everything was done in a timely and in a professional manner.

They price out your house by the square foot. He came out and took measurements. It is family owned. It was kind of vague and it's a lot of money to be vague. they were going to pressure wash it and they were going to provide the paint which I didn't want them to do. Then they kind of pressured me about the job but the receptionist was so nice and amazing. He would call me up and brow beat me wanting to do the job. The price was so unbelievably high and they wouldn't explain why it was so high - my house is in really good shape.

The company started a bit earlier than they had originally stated, which was a good thing. They completed the job in two days and I experienced a minimum of inconvenience while they were working. On the last day, I came home to find quite a bit of debris left over from the job. I was concerned about this and called the company. It was past their business hours, so I left a message expecting to hear back in the morning. To my surprise, they called me back right away and assured me that the remaining debris would be removed the next day after the owner did his final inspection. Sure enough, he came by in the morning, looked over the work and cleared away the leftover materials. Overall, I'd say I'm pleased with the results and would call on them again for other projects.

It turned out great. I would use them again in the future. They were very nice to work with.

The estimator understood the job and gave an excellent explanation of how it would be done. The quoted price was a little high (higher than we eventually paid), but the quality of understanding the job was so impressive, and SES's reputation so good, that we decided to pay the bit more than other estimates, and go with SES. As expected, for a small job, SES sub-contracted the job to another company. SES's estimator and the person from the subcontractor reviewed the job and all appeared to be clear. Unfortunately, that is where the good experience stopped. The subcontractor further contracted the job to a "sub-sub-contractor". After a brief explanation to the guys actually doing the job the morning the job was to begin, all supervision by the SES and their subcontractor vanished. The workers did not have the equipment they needed - wanted to borrow a wheelbarrow and swore when I didn't want it used for concrete. They did not create the 3 pads I wanted - the head man decided he knew what I wanted more than I did, so we ended up with pads not squared up with each other. To give him credit, we plan to cover the pads with brick in the fall and his adjustment to two of the pads will better facilitate that plan, unfortunately, he did not extend the same logic to the third pad, so the pads are out of line. The guy who appeared to be in charge left the job as soon as the concrete arrived, so it was just two guys who did not speak English left to complete the job. Finally, because we plan to cover these pads in the future, they decided that a lower grade finish was sufficient, and that the exposed edge from the step down didn't need finishing. After completing the installation, the workers left (leaving piles of concrete when we had been promised that the waste would be cleaned up), without any communication on when they would be back to remove the forms. I had to call SES to get the forms removed. At that time I asked about the non-square pads and the terrible finish. The workers who came to remove the forms (same ones from the installation), were surly and uncooperative.After hearing my sad story, SES did about all they could to get it fixed. It seemed irresponsible to have them remove the pads and start over, though they offered to do so. I believe I can work with the results when I cover the pads, and end up with something good. It is not what I wanted, or contracted for, but it is live-able. SES got their subcontractor to come back and fill the "honeycomb" in the wall of the step, and to do an acid wash to make the surface more uniform looking. The step now looks good. We can live with the results until we get a chance to cover is all.Above, I checked the box that I would consider using SES again. They have a good reputation overall. I must say though that this was a typical "contractor nightmere". I will never again let any contractor borrow equipment - I will shut the job down and send them home with instructions to not come back until they are ready to do the job. SES brought the price down $200 to compensate for the issues. This is the final price reflected above.

It took them several weeks to get to the job, but they kept me informed along the way. I believe they subcontracted the job; the trucks of the workers who arrived said some other company's name. I was a little miffed that they didn't tell me this in advance, but the workers removed and replaced the old roof quickly and quietly (amazingly so). We have had one very hard rain since the repair and NO leaks! Overall, the experience was very positive and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I was not confident in the estimate I was given. I felt as though the quote they gave me was not final. They were not great with their follow through.

Called them for their advertised 'free estimate' because of a wet spot in our bedroom. We were concerned there was a slab crack. Owner came out and was very, very nice. He determined that the water was coming from a leaking pipe in our wall. Which was a great relief. He stated that they would send us an estimate later that day or first thing the next morning. I ended up having to call to get it late the next day. What we received was one lump amount for fixing the pipe and the wall hole. Requested a break down and it showed an amount for the estimate and there was no mention of tacking the carpet back down. We decided to just go with getting the pipe fixed and deal with the rest ourselves but went with someone else since we were not comfortable with them trying to charge for something that was supposed to be free. In reponse to the company's response posted below: There were three different parts of this broken down estimate. The first charge on this account was attached to the first day that he came out. The first day he came out was the estimate- the free estimate- like they have said they provide. The broken down list , it was going to charge $175 for this free estimate day. I did not know there was going to be any work done, and this should have been free, as they have mentioned. We decided not to move forward with this company. They have also not pursued us for any of these costs.

It took awhile to get all estimates together, especially for the removal of the pool, however once we received the estimates we were satisfied with them. Then it did take a more than a week for them to start work. It was planned for a specific day but then they had to change the start date a couple of times. Once the work was begun everything went smoothly and all of the workers were very professional and helpful and were very easy to work with. It was a joy to have them around and the 2 gentlemen who were here for the entire project were very pleasant and I miss them now that they are finished. I would definitely hire them again.

My insurance paid for it. They were great. They got here when they said they would and did everything. I would use them again.

They were very nice and professional. I would use him in the future if I needed him to repair anything else. He said when it came to roofing, he was short short on roofing. But he said any other job, he was able to have the work done.

I truly believe that most of the reviews here are overrated. Based on these wonderful evaluations, I contacted them to get a quote for an exterior paint job. It took them 2 weeks to finally get something together. On top of that, it wasn't them who gave me the quote, but I had to call back numerous times to squeeze the quote out of them. They were not punctual, not responsive nor were did they appear even interested to help out. Really disappointing.

SES is great to deal with - all contractors and office personel are very professional and polite. I never had a request that was impossible to handle. All employees made me feel like their most important customer and were very involved with how I thought the job was going and my feelings upon its completion. Although I sing their praises, I still often get multiple quotes for a job and there have been times where SES has admitted that they think another company is giving me a steal. They are very honest about their prices and if they think you should go with another contractor, they'll tell you and they won't try to push anything. I find this very respectable as not a lot of companies will do this. I've already recommended SES to a friend and I will continue to do so.

We love everything! The workers were friendly and punctual, even coming across the lake to the Northshore. Shawn and Penny were easy to get in touch with when necessary. We were impressed with the accuracy of the estimate in regard to time and cost. The painters especially were AMAZING! They did the best paint job we have ever seen and we are confident it will hold up very well based upon their very thorough prep and detail work.

I had a very good experience with this company. Penny, Perry, and Shawn were all very helpful, professional, and easy to work with. All the workers were professional and did quality work. I was very pleased with the results of their workmanship. The estimate was right on target and was exactly what I paid upon completion of the work. Workers showed up on time and kept me informed of their progress and any issues that arose. My new porch looks great. I would use this company again (and will) for any future projects.
