Complete renovation of bathroom including repairs to floor joists, tub refinish and plumbing. I love SES - Professional, thorough. This is the 2nd job they've done for us and we will use them again.

After weeks of waiting on a call back for an estimate and while interviewing other contractors, Tory showed up.
The job entailed a overhaul of the second floor.  Replace floors, 4 doors provided by me, removal of some 2x4's, drywall work and ceiling repair.  
At no time did I ask Tory to replace a really bad bathroom vanity or to fix it.  During the estimate, Tory takes out his cell phone and takes a picture of the absolute worst spot in the job area - WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.  He said nothing about it.  Didn't ask about it.  Just took a picture of it.  I was a little shell shocked and thought he's probably putting that on the estimate.  Well, weeks went by with no estimate.  So I emailed the owner and said this same thing to him.  Within 24 hours, I received the estimate by email.
No mention of the vanity.  None whatsoever.  There were numerous things on there that I didn't ask for.  It looked like somebody pulled a bunch of stuff out of a hat, maybe based on a memory, and put a price on it.  
I wouldn't let Tory do work in my home for free, period.  Disrespectful.  Unprofessional.  Rude.
On a note to Angies List, how is it possible the reviews average maybe every 2 or 3 days, sometimes every day, for extensive home renovations?

We were very happy with their work and their service. Shawn and his crew worked around our work schedule. They were on time everyday and completed the job earlier than expected. They were also very professional and easy to get a hold of (by email and phone).

Getting a call back from the office was difficult.  Messages were left repeatedly (starting in mid-June, as the phone usually went to voice mail.  After numerous calls, we were able to get an estimator out to the property a week after my last call was made.  He came, appeared to know his stuff, so very professional.  Told him what we wanted and he said he would have an estimate to us by COB the next day....that day came, so did the next and the next.  I called the office and asked where the quote was and I was told that he was very busy.  I said he was the one to offer the date he would get it to us.  Admin did call back and said that he would have it to me by COB on Friday, of course we didn't get it....finally that following Sunday I rec'd a voice mail saying he would have the quote to us by COB Monday.  We did finally get it, unfortunately it was more than we could afford at this time.  But considering the response we rec'd from the office and from the estimator, we are really not interested in working with these folks in the future (when we can afford to have this completed).  If their office and estimator works so inefficiently, how will they do working on the job?

The final product was fantastic.  All of the workers were very friendly.  The work was done adjacent to the master bedroom so they took efforts to keep the construction mess in the bathroom.  It did take longer then originally quoted, but the quality of the work was worth it.  Most of the time they showed up when they told me. I would definitely use them again.

I did not hire SES but it was not because of anything th ey did to cause me not to use them.  I wanted 3 estimates and then my husband and I made the decision on who would replace the roof.  

I was pleased with the job that SES did in painting the exterior of my home.  The crew started on the day promised and was professional in appearance and conduct.  My house is a two story 1920's era raised bungalow with wood siding and a lot of windows.   A couple of the first floor windows were out of square due to an uneven settling of the house's foundation over the years.   The SES carpenter was able to re-square these windows and greatly improve their appearance and functionality.  The exterior surfaces were thoroughly cleaned and sanded in preparation for painting.  I told Shawn that I wanted to use the same colors that were already on the house and he matched them perfectly.  The house was both primed and painted.  The final job looks great!  I have a lot of landscaping around my house and the crew was very careful to avoid any damage to it.  They also did an excellent  job cleaning up everything after the job was done.  I would definitely hire SES again.

I was extremely pleased with the job that SES Enterprises did.  The old door and window had not been used for many years and were in an area that had suffered a lot of termite damage in the past.  The SES crew was able to remove all of the old termite damaged materials as well as the door and window.  They reconstructed the wall and replaced and repaired the exterior siding in such a manner that the rather large patch in the outer wall is undetectable from the outside.  The job actually turned out much better that I was expecting it could.  The crew performing the work were professional in appearance and conduct.  They did the work quickly and removed all of their materials and waste afterward.  I would hire SES again.

Everything went according to plan. As always they give a free estimate and invoice after the project is complete. The invoice is always the same as the estimate. The work is always done on time and excellent workmanship. They always leave a clean worksite.

The company was very easy to work with.  The office assistant was on top the whole job and could answer all questions.  The office and the owner have a clear, open path of communication which made it very easy to work with them.  The owner, Sean, was on the job site and was aware of all details of the project when he wasn't able to be there.  They did an excellent job repairing the interior of the home before they painted and the paint job is wonderful.  Each room was the color that we wanted and the way we requested (two of the rooms had accent walls), even though we did all the communication long distance.  The assistant called my interior designer and spend time with him to make sure that all the details of the job were correct.  They showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently and quietly, which the neighbors truly appreciated.  I am hoping to use them again in the future and would highly recommend them to any one.

I was really patient with SES because I had heard great things about them, but it was an act of congress to get the rep out to the house for an estimate.  Tory was very thorough and informative, but it again took a very long time and a few phone calls to get the actual numbers.  The bid was really high, and while we are still considering doing the job with them,  we needed to put it off until next year since it took so long to get the estimate and a few unforeseen expenses came up.

It went well

On this occasion, my husband was out of town- that's when all disasters occur - and I got up at 6am to discover a puddle of water in the hall and water dripping from the ceiling in 3 places.  At 7am, I called SES, got Shawn's cell number from the message and called him.  He answered immediately, listened to my problem, stated that he would have someone come over right away.  About an hour later, two of Shawn's men came, looked at the problem and called their AC man. About an hour later, the AC man appeared and went into the attic, saw that the AC drip pan was clogged and overflowing, and addressed the problem.
All three of these people were professional and helpful.
No one has sent us a bill yet, but cost has never been a problem with this company.  We have used them a few times before for a variety of jobs.  We have never been disappointed.
I want to add that prior to calling SES, I went in the attic myself to look at the drip pan.  So did the first two men from SES.  The pan appeared dry to us.  An AC expert was what was needed for this diagnosis.  Shawn always has the right person available.

Estimate was too expensive.

Contract read to remove roofing materials, inspect, repair damage, replace roof.
Roofers refused remove felt paper so general  inspection was not possible.  The felt paper was "not roofing but like the decking  which was not in the contract to be removed."   When is became clear the felt paper was not coming off there was nobody on the crew that could speak english.  I called the contacts at SES and the foreman with the roofer who told me he was eating lunch but would come by later. 
SES provides a good service if you have a straightforward job where there are no complications.  The estimator can not give consideration for scope of the work that needs to be done as he is too busy estimating other jobs.

The job was well done and very professional. 

Initially, there was a mix up in receiving the items (not the fault of SES). That was quickly resolved and the work was compentently and professionally done in a timely manner. The supervisor and installer were wonderful. Check their work and actually replaced one section which they felt did not come up to their expectations. I thought they were a bit expensive, but would not choose any other company to do this or similar work.

There was a message that the receptionist was on lunch and would call back so I left a message.  I never got a call back.

The visit which last no more than about 5 or 10 minutes went well, but I have not heard back from them.
The company representative called ahead to let me know he was on his way and later 
arrived promptly.  He gave me a packet of information about the company for my review. 
I showed him the areas needing repair and mentioned that I needed two estimates -  one for
ceiling repair only and one for ceiling and wall replace for two rooms.  The representative
took measurements for the estimates.  I asked,  if hired, how long would I have to wait before
they could start the job.  I was told 2-3 weeks.  Then the representative left and I haven't heard from 
this company since.  

They do fantastic work!  Attention to detail!  Tory came out and talked to me about what I wanted done.  He was great.  I would highly recommend this company.  You will NOT be disappointed!

This company did an outstanding job. From the estimate wth the owner Shawn, to the office administrator Penny and the hardest working crew, the entire experience has been wonderful. This company is professional in every way, from their interactions with me to the courtesy and politeness shown me from their crew members. This job was originally scheduled for 8/21/2013, but was not only completed early, it was finished in ONE DAY!!!
I am anticipating the completion of project 2 in about 2 weeks. My expectations are high and I know I will not be disappointed.

Experience went relatively well. The team came out on time every day. We did run into an issue with a leaky flat roof in the middle of the project, during a late-night storm. It caused quite a bit of damage to the ceiling of our sunroom. I called first thing the next morning and they were at my door within 20 minutes. They apologized profusely and had a team out to fix the immediate issues that day; the interior repairs were scheduled for about a week or so later.

Had to wait about 3 weeks for an appointment. A nice gentleman came out to make some measurements and said he would email me with an estimate. That was the last I heard from him. I guess they have enough work on their plate.
