Had to wait about 3 weeks for an appointment. A nice gentleman came out to make some measurements and said he would email me with an estimate. That was the last I heard from him. I guess they have enough work on their plate.

Overall we were very pleased with the work and would gladly recommend SES to anyone who needs their services. The original time frame didn't work out, but that was mainly because of extra work that was necessary. They could not have known what extra work would be needed until the floor and walls were torn out. They worked hard to get the job done, and the result is beautiful. They also came out on very short notice to repair an unrelated roof issue. I feel that I can depend on them to get any job done around my house, and I feel that the price was fair for what they did. also, they cleaned up after the job was done, and my wife and I were very pleased with the experience.

SES completed the necessary demo of the existing counter tops and completed the rebuilding of the new cabinet boxes within 3 days. The cabinets were checked for level and returned to finish the project once the granite was installed ( by another party). Excellent work. Had used them previously to replace front and side doors. Have plans to update our master bath sometime in 2014...they will be the first folks i call.

All work done on time, excellent workmanship, and workers were very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this company to a friend.

The receptionist was very professional, however, SES must be very busy because she could not schedule an appraisal visit for 3 weeks out! The SES rep was professional during the visit. We had to schedule a second visit for the electrician to check on something, which took another 2 weeks to schedule. In the end, we decided not to use them because the quote was a lot more than we expected.

Had appointment scheduled for an estimate --. No call an no show...

Extremely unprofessional!! Call to request estimate for replacement of old roof. Was given a date 3 weeks away. Waited. The day before the appointment I called to confirm the time. I was told that they didn't have me on their schedule but could send a guy out on Thursday morning. On Thursday morning no one showed up and when I called they said he was running late and would be at my house around 3 PM. At 5 PM I received a call from the contractor telling me he was sorry and would be at my house first thing in the morning. Not only did no one show up all day Friday, no one answered the phone at their office until Monday afternoon. I would not have persisted if they hadn't received such good reviews. Regardless on Monday they scheduled me for an estimate on the following Thursday for which he was 2 hours late. The final estimate was 2000 dollars more than the next highest bid, and didn't include the cost of decking. If this is how they treat you before they have your business I can't imagine the quality of their work once they have it.

We didn’t have them actually do any work. He knew what he was talking about, however, and he gave us several options about what his company could do to help us achieve our goals. Our goals changed, but he was very, very good. He even responded to my follow up questions after the visit. If our goals had not changed, we would have gone with him.

The jobs went very well. We have used SES Enterprises LLC a number of times and have been very satisfied.

I contacted SES based on the reports here. I was looking for a home and most of what interested me and my wife were going to need renovation. I called SES and Sean, the owner, came out to look at three different properties that didn't pan out because the cost of renovations would be too much. Then we bought the home where we now live. I called and they sent a different person out. We were going to convert a large area over the garage into a master bedroom. He did some preliminary drawings and I thought he had some good ideas. Then, I didn't hear from him for a while. He said he would have his architect contact me. I asked for a ball park figure and he told me about $50,000. That sounded really good. Then I met the "architect" who charged me $3,750 for plans. It turned out that he was not an architect but a draftsman who had a semi retired licensed engineer stamp all his plans. The draftsman knew that we were going to get other bids and started acting strange. He intimated that he didn't think SES would like it and that he would have to call them to see if he could release the plans for competitive bidding. I was dumbfounded - after all, I paid for the plans, not SES. Well, we got the plans and got bids. SES did not submit a bid. The lowest bid for this supposedly $50,000 job was over $200,000. So, in the end, all that happened was that I wasted 6 months and $3,750. I have had no further contact with SES.

We had three phases so the total was around $8000. They were great and I was really impressed. The owner came out, his name was Shawn. He took a look around and made all the measurements. He was very professional and provided a portfolio that we were able to keep that shows some other work and some of the awards that they have won which was very nice. The quoting process went pretty well. He took it back to his office and within a few days we were able to have a quote. He broke down all three of our projects like we asked so that was very nice. He was actually early for the appointment. I think we might actually use them.

I called a couple of weeks back to get an estimate for painting the exterior of the house and some minor wood repairs. I spoke to someone that stated that they would call me when someone was available to come out. I never received that call. When speaking of this, to a friend, he stated that while he was at my house, someone did in fact, show up to do the inspection. I asked my friend what, if anything was said. He stated that very little, just a mention of tenting and lead abatement and the inspector was gone. In the meantime, I was getting estimates from other companies. Within a few days, I had 3 estimates in hand. To be fair, I wanted to wait until I got ALL of the estimates, to make a decision, so I contacted SES on Wednesday, 05/29/2013. The young lady that answered the phone stated that the house had indeed been inspected, but the estimate had not yet, been prepared. I found that strange, as they were the FIRST company I called and many days had gone by, without even a call or an email. She assured me that I would have an estimate by Friday, May 31st, by the end of day. I verified my email address and phone numbers with her to ensure they would have no difficulty reaching me. Well, Friday came and went without a call. It's unfortunate, as they came highly recommended. Maybe they just didn't want or need the job. Monday morning, I signed a contract with someone else.

Repairs were well done and impressive.

Everyone was professional and courteous from beginning to end. The quality of work was excellent. I plan on using again in the future.

I was looking for a roofer in my area with good recommendations. I called more than a week ago, phone message said at lunch. Never returned my call.

Went great the best construction experience I have ever had cost what they said it would cost done on time wife very happy. Happy to recommend to anyone great job. Easy to work with showed up on time did what they say they would do.

The person that pulled the permit did not do the work. He subcontracted soomeone licensed intTX to do the work. those heloers did not speak or understand English ery well. They fried the timer for the carport lights. They wired it so that hen you turned on the kitchen light the carport light came on. Only 2 smoke alarms were installed and they also had code violations. They were next to the oven so when I used the oven the alarms went off. The contract ws a joke. They did not do the work for serious code violations was never completed. Chief electrical inspector came out and work was so wrong. The electrician was fined and SES ws fined. I was told by the chief electrical inspector to complain and go to the attorney general. The sub contractor does not have a electrical license.He may have had it then but may have been pulled. Also the guys did not sho wup for work. The Texas electrician would come without his helpers then say he couldn't do much of anything because he didn't have his helpers. Never labled the circuit breaker panel. They were to install 2 heater light vents in 2 bathrooms, lost parts so had to buy new ones. Never worked on backyard lights. Workers kept saying they were going to be finished in a day and were rushing thru the job not finishing the job right or completely. They took the money and tried to push more expenses on me that they were responsible for. You have to be extremely specific or hey won't do it. If you use this company at all make sure they are bonded. Do not give this company any money up front unless they are bonded. SES also demands entire amount of projects paid up front.

I called Penny, the secretary, about getting a contractor or installer to do the multi-tasking jobs as I mentioned early. She recommended Perry to come for an estimate work. The first estimate was about $650.00 which it was out of my budget. I eliminated the electric and comode work of my list which he accepted $450.00 for the entire work . I called Penny to get a plumber first because the water from the old faucet was dripping constantly which did replaced the new one stem valve successfully. One week later I have not heard from her so I called her and found out that Perry was out of town to attend the funeral which I understood and moved to on the May 11th (Saturday). At three days before the plan started, I called her and found out that he wanted to change to the 18th of May instead of the 11th of May. At first I was frustrated but calm and suggested him to come during the evening instead of working all day during the weekend which it works out great from them. I originally thought Perry did all of the job by himself but I was wrong. He did some of the job but was with his boss and other co-workers in different time that help him to speed up the job. What I was impressed with him was that he always informed me about the problem came up before the job was done. Also, I instructed the co-workers to do the baseboards and quarter-round work in the guest room and masterbedroom closets. They forgot about the closet in the m/b but Perry did the work. His willingness was paramount with no doubt about missing the job that I was very pleased. I gave them the overall outstanding performance except the professionalism was dropped to an B because the co-workers did not clean up the debris after the job was done.

SES came on time and finished in a single day- the job was well done and not rushed, small kitchen and the outcome is beautiful- fresh white cabinets. they also touched up a crack in the wall they noticed. SES is very professional and I felt comfortable trusting them in my condo while I was at work. They cleaned up their mess and you wouldn't even know they were there if it wasn't for the improvements.

Both areas are now a true showcase. I am a real pain in the a** when it comes to having work done . I am very particular and demanding. The owner of the company , Sean, handled it all with aplomb. His workers satisfied all of my requirements. Next project will be the kitchen and Sean will again handle it.

Shawn had done work on our house in the past, so when we were ready to remodel our bathroom and have some other painting done, we didn't think twice. We sent SES a down payment on Dec. 2nd. Later we were told they would not be able to start until Feb. 19th because they could not have a team available until then. Shawn had told us that the bathroom remodel would take a week - he understood that people did not like to be out of their bathroom any longer than they had to be. In actuality, there never was a team. the project took over 2 months to finish - there were full weeks when no one came out at all. And no one ever contacted us to let us know what was happening. My husband called one time and was told that the problem was trying to get a plumber and electrician to come to the north shore. Surely that is something that should have been taken care of before the sheet rock was torn down and we were living in a dust bowl! While our bathroom turned out very nice, I would not call SES again.

Pros: They did negotiate price some to be competitive. Reviewed entire job with supervisor before work started. Cons: Called at last minute to come out, so we didn't have time to do self remove of old gutters (so the begrudgingly did it for free). Supervisor left after crew started working, and they needed direction. Did not feel they were professional at all. Had to loan them my ladder, as they didn't come fully prepared. Caught them using some smaller size wood in eaves than what they pulled out (2x4 vs 2x6). Insisted they correct. Also had to make them fix woodwork that was not in-line/square with existing woodwork. Explicitly explained to supervisor that downspouts needed to exit on ground, not into old clogged drain pipes. The crew ignored this on 4 out of 7, so I had to fix myself. Not at all happy with appearance of how outside corners of gutters are assembled -very rough and amateur looking. Had to clean up lots of leftover scrap all around house, wood and metal. Luckily no one stepped on jagged aluminum. There was no follow up visit or call.

I contacted SES about a roof leaf in late 2012. A young man came out to look at work and write an estimate but I never heard anything. After 2 months, I called and got the estimate on 4/1/13. I sent it back and as of this week I had heard nothing again, so I called them and told them I would not be using them. Penny (in office) was very nice but in my opinion they were extremely unprofessional or they didn't need or want to do the job. All they had to do was let me know something either way. Will not attempt to use them again.

I like that he did good work. It took him a lot longer than I thought so I will give him 3 out of 5 for that, if time has anything to do with it.

Everything was done as planned. We couldn't be happier.
