Seabreeze Cooling & Heating

Seabreeze came to diagnose our old HVAC which had nursed along the past 2 years, adding freon, stop leak, and repairs during that time. Brandon recommended that we purchase a new unit, otherwise we might continue spending $500 or more each time and never being satisfied. Brandon recommended a new 3 ton American Standard HVAC unit, which we agreed to. We knew American Standard was made in the same factory as Trane and on the same conveyor with the same parts, but with different paint and emblem. Brandon and Josiah arrived in a very timely manner and removed the old unit which was very difficult because the coil and other pieces were in the attic and had to be dis-assembled to carefully remove the smaller pieces via a narrow wood stair well. Brandon and Josiah also had to contend with the large old HVAC unit on a 7 inch concrete slab which had sunk into the soft ground possibly after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and all the huge rainfall that came with those storms. They had to level the new HVAC and used concrete blocks which we had on hand. The men from Seabreeze worked hard and well and completed the demolition of the old HVAC and installation of the HVAC in one day. We are currently enjoying the fruit of their labors. Brandon also assured us that he would register our new American Standard HVAC so we would have a 10 year warranty. Great service by the men of Seabreeze. We highlly recommend them to you!

Serviceman showed up approximately 30 minutes after I called him. Diagnosed the problem quickly and offered options for the repair. He found a leaking coil using a freon leak detector. I chose to add freon versus replacing the coil, but the technician offered options and followed up the next day to see if the unit was still under warranty. Very professional. He had a portable digital scale and asked that I witness the initial and final weight. Because the unit took so much freon, he waived the weekend call out rate. Very honest person. I will do business with him again.
