The work he did was very good but he did not finish the work. When I asked for insurance claim forms for a column and a very large pot that he broke, he said I said it was okay, not to worry because the first question I asked him was “do you have insurance?”to which he answered affirmatively. He came back for a few minutes today and said he was uncomfortable about my questioning him about the insurance claim forms , etc. and he left. I paid more than he asked which was to include the deck as I told him to clean anything he saw with mildew - which certainly included the deck as it is wood and is worse than the driveway. All my Christmas visitors would certainly enjoy the deck if it weren’t full of mildew. Sorry he left as the work he did was certainly satisfactory - he just didn’t finish. Maybe he actually does not have insurance. I just don’t know why he just left without finishing what started out as doing a good job.

When I inquired about a landscaper, John called me back IMMEDIATELY, it was 6AM his time. I asked for pictures of the job (I live in Virginia) and a picture of himself. He did. His price was all right. BUT THIS IS THE BEST ONE: I needed URGENTLY to cover an old septic tank with dirt and pavers. He was there last night at 9PM on the phone with me and sending me pictures to make sure we were on the same page. Nice attitude, outstanding dedication. Hard working guy. YOU'LL BE PROUD OF HIM.
