+ -1 moreWe provided the technician with a direct access and pinpointed the problem, relating to him that dye had already been put into the system and that the coil had many leaks. All the Blanchard technician had to do was to shine a light on the coil to see the many leaks. Total time, including the estimate for the replacement of the coil and an estimate for complete replacement of the heat exchanger was less than 7 minutes, total cost to us $198.00. Over charged this call, and prices were so much over those we had received from others.
Description of Work: A technician came at the cost of a service call. When the technician asked about the problem with our A/C, we were able to share with him about the work performed by prior Heating and A/C service technicians sent by our home warranty company and by our next door neighbor who in Heatiing and A/C for business and industrial systems. We directed the Blanchard technician directly to the coil which already had been treated with dye and showed the leak areas. All the technician had to do was to shine his light on the areas to confirm the leak areas. This took him less than 5 minutes. Total time in our home 7 minutes. Total cost to us $198.00. He then gave us an estimate for replacement of the coil and then the cost of replacement of the entire heat exchanger. The estimate given was 50% more than any other company which had given us estimates.

Description of Work: They came as a service call to evaluate a rusted evaporator pan, found the entire system was deteriorating. So they replaced the entire AC and Heating system. They arrived as promised, cleaned up after themselves, very polite and courteous, explained anything I wanted. I had another contractor come out to look at the pan, and that's all he did, and never got back tome with an estimate. Blanchard's also called to follow up on the work, which I found very impressive in this day and age.

+ -1 moreI have used Blanchards before. Ac problems started with Ac run and shut off run and shut off. The tech came out checked unit low freon, Tested for leaks and found A coil was leaking in three spots in the back no less. I told them to put a new A coil in. Tech added some freon to a safe level and said he would have to order the new coil. Their office called with a price and delivery of 4 days for the new coil. I told them to order it and call to put it in. Tech (Ricky) called and came to install the coil. He had a little difficulty installing coil as the new coil was a little larger than the old coil. We slept real good and cool with the new coil. Thanks Ricky. Job well done.
Description of Work: I had a leaky A coil insdie and they had to replace with a new one.

+ -1 moreDid get estimates from several dealers and research brands and performance. Unit chosen and instillation date set. Technicians arrived when stated, removed old unit and some venting and delivered new unit on first day. Measured for new venting and cleaned all debris from yard and house. Do have alternative a/c till new instillation complete. Technicians arrived as expected with new venting, spent long day in hot attic until new unit installed and operating. All debris cleaned and home in order. Very professional behavior.
Description of Work: New 18 seer Amana central A/C unit and ventilation system. Removal of old system.
