Magnolia Tree Service

Initially, I had called their major competitor and was told they could not even give me an estimate for 2 weeks! After checking this site, it also seemed the other company was way overpriced. We had used Magnolia before, so I called and Jason came out immediately to quote the job for us. I was very pleased at how much extra we could afford to have done over and above the one large tree I had called about. Jason walked around and noticed a few hazardous trees and we agreed to a great price to remove all of the ones in question, plus two shrubs I had been longing to get rid of. He even offered to throw in some overhanging branch removal at no extra charge. He was very friendly and did not try to "up sell" us needlessly. The extra tree removal was simply to make the yard safer for us and our neighbors. The work crew arrived within 2 days to begin the project. We were very impressed at the size of the group (about 6 guys) and the heavy equipment they brought. All the men were cheerful, very polite, professional, and knew exactly what they were doing. There was no guesswork involved, and indeed it was so much fun to watch this precision "cirque du tree removal" (LOL), that we pulled up chairs and took pictures! [to follow ASAP] The work proceeded very quickly and efficiently, and all of the crew took great pains to protect my flowers and garden. One man even carefully dug up my recently planted day lilies and set them in the garage to avoid damaging them! (Nice, right?) You can tell when a company treats its employees well, because they seem to love what they do, have fun and work well together. Every step of the way, great care was taken to clean up, move and replace items for safety, and return the yard to a tidy state. Jason and the others answered all our questions and outlined the ongoing work. They explained why quotes vary so much, due to how close to a dwelling trees are, equipment required, safety and liability issues, etc., which made a lot of sense. When they left, the yard was perfectly clean and a nice big pile of mulch was raked and left for us to use in the garden. It was a very stress-free day for us watching this long-needed improvement to the yard. The neighbors are ecstatic that the giant leaf dropping monstrosity is gone, and their grass and flowers can now get sun. One of the nicest aspects of doing business with this company was that they insisted on not being paid until the work was completed fully and to our satisfaction. After being burned a few times in the last year, this was refreshing! I would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone. You won't be disappointed!!

They took the fence down, cleaned up the tree, and ground the stump. It was big tree. I will use them in the future.
