+ -1 moreI wouldn't even give this company 1 star for a Poor rating, but I had to choose one in order to post. Mr. Perkins in my opinion is completely dishonest. We found him through our Home Warranty company. He has lied to us numerous times and threatened to quit the job after we agreed to paying 1275.00 for a new condensor and 2 coils that he claimed had holes in them. We just moved in February and had a complete home inspection along with an AC inspection which revealed no holes. However at 90 degree weather daily in New Orleans, we agreed so that the job could just get done. We have been without air upstairs since May 25th. He finally comes today with or equipment and asks to be paid up front before he even fixes our air! I said No Way. I would never pay someone before any job is complete and I am positive Mr. Perkins wouldn't do that either. Upon hearing that I would pay once the AC was working and fixed, he took the equipment and packed up his truck and left the job!! BEWARE !!!!!!

Description of Work: Contacted through Home Warranty of America. Service would have been $75.00 had the plumber returned my phone calls.

+ -1 moreHe talked me into cleaning the unit and charged me an extra $85.00. It did not fix the problem, and I never heard from him or the company again.
Description of Work: My home warranty company sent Perkins out to my house for some repairs that needed to be done. He checked my outside unit and told me he needed to check with the warranty company to make sure he could do the work.

+ 0 moreMr. Perkins determined the heater was no longer serviceable and needed to be replaced. Arrived at set time and worked hard to complete the job of removing old heater and installing the new one. After already working all day, came to my house at noon and worked until 10pm.

+ 0 moreMr. Perkins called me within an hour or so of me filing a claim with my home warranty company. He said he could fit me in that day in the evening. After diagnosing the issue and determining there was going to be an additional fee due to the difficulty of reaching the heater, he informed me what the Home warranty would and would not cover so I could determine if I wanted to move forward. Within 20 minutes of leaving my house, he had already called the home warranty company to fill them in. The home warranty company called me to confirm I wanted to proceed with the replacement of the heater motor and that I would pay the convenience fee and I agreed. It was already 6pm by this point but Mr Perkins and the home warranty company were taking care of business. Mr. Perkins called to arrange a time to come and do the work as soon as he received the parts. He completed the work without any issues and now the heater is purring like a kitten.
Description of Work: My home warranty identified Perkins A/C to fix my heater which was making very loud noises. Mr. Perkins replaced the heater motor and its running perfect now.
