The moneys I paid was only for labor and he had performed less than 20% off the work for which I paid for. (He told me AFTER that his labor price did NOT include picking up materials from stores..i.e. Home Depot or Lowe's). It was the worst sheet rock, masonry and brick work job work I have ever seen. When he added two light fixtures to my electric in my master bedroom, he DIS-connected the electrical from all other outlets and stole over $1000 in new equipment as extra "payment for the job." Marcus Clark is a drug addict, totally undependable and unethical. He was thrown in jail the first week on the job for beating up his wife and using drugs (see Jefferson Parish police reports). He attacked me and I filed a police report against him. He ran off with more than $1500 in tools and supplies. He is a dangerous individual and very cunning. He came recommended and I had trusted my friend. Other people I spoke with since said he never finished their job either. Supposedly, he left his lucrative work in Texas, due to problems with his mother-in-law.
