Cajun Duct Cleaning and Sanitizing

When I could get the owner to respond he sent his people over to clean my duct work and installed a vent line for my dryer. I paid the bill presented to me and two days later the owner attempted to give another bill for additional money. i asked why and the owner replied "my people charged you incorrectly". I informed him that I paid the bill presented to me and he chose to send me to a collection agency. I would not recommend using this company because ownership is not trustworthy

Good. The duct was very long and they snaked and vacuumed it from both sides.

Troy diagnosed a long-standing problem that my a/c repair company had missed for years, and he provided all the services to solve a very complex set of problems. The entire crew was fantastic: punctual, helpful, competent, and very helpful and considerate. I felt very comfortable having them in our home; they are among the nicest and most accommodating people you'll meet. They showed the highest standards of professionalism: very simply, they knew what needed to be done, they did it promptly, and the did it right—and their charges were very very reasonable, with no surprises. It is very difficult for homeowners to find service providers that they can trust: Troy Ruiz and his crew at Cajun Duct Cleaning are definitely among that elite group. They did a great job and was in and out 30 mins or so. The only problem was the person I talk to to get service gave me a quote and said let her check, but most sure they could come by later that same dsy. So I hung up. Then when I called back to make the apt. She assured me definitely the tech would be same day later in afternoon by 4pm. But about 3:30 Derek the tech called and said miss communications will not be coming. This was Thursday. Said he would come on Monday. What could I do had no choice. On Monday I realized it was Martin Luther King day. So I called office to make sure not another mistake cause of holiday. Got no answer. So sat all day waiting. Derek never gave me a time for Monday when I talked to him on Thursday.,, So was a little lost. Then finally he called I guess around 3:30 and was there alil after 4. By 5 all done, my dryer wasnt drying my clothes so had avrepairman out. He said vent was cloged. Thats why I called Cajun. They did do a great job. Dryer drys clothes perfect now. Thanks,

Brought in two crews to get the task accomplished in one day. The one system was relatively new. I don't think the other system had been cleaned in 20 years. Covered all of our floors and rugs to keep down dirt. They discovered that three of the old vent runs were saturated with condensation water and we decided to replace them. They also eliminated a Y by cutting a new opening in the distribution box. All very professional.

We had problems with the dryer not drying clothes. Had the ducts cleaned out. We even bought a new dryer ! But the clothes still did not dry. Outside by vent we could hear noise. After calling and having at least 3 other companies come and try to figure out the problem- including a roofer to see if it was letting in rain water, still no help. Didn't need a new vent, the duct was clean, but yet clothes still did not dry as they should have. Even had a small amount of moisture around dryer. This company came out when they said they would, figured out the duct had a bow in it and moisture had collected in it. So we had water in the duct hose up in the ceiling. They vacuumed it out with a dry vac and after replacing dryer hose and machine, cleaning up after themselves, we can finally dry clothes in 1 cycle !! We have lived in this house for 12 years and never had the problem before. No one else (after many phone calls and searches online) could figure out the problem. These 2 fine Cajun guys figured it out in about 10 minutes ! Sure wish we had called them much sooner ! We have their number at the ready if we need this process done again ! So far, so good !

They definitely used machinery that looked effective, and my husband has indicated his breathing is much improved; we had the house sanded last year and there was a lot of residual dust.

It was quite an experience! A cat jumped on to a cat tree, then straight into the A/C duct (the cover was off for replacement). After FOUR days of trying different methods to convince the cat to come out, we called Cajun Duct Cleaning and Sanitizing. They cleaned our duct work last May and did an excellent job. They called shortly before arriving and were very punctual. Employees Mike and Steve had used the camera equipment before but never to remove a cat, but the task did not daunt them at all. They were ready for the challenge. Steve monitored the video screen and fed the camera wire to Mike up in the attic. Mike had to rely on Steve describing what the camera saw. The cat was not in the first duct, but several inches of water were discovered from the homeowner trying to (literally) flush the cat out with water. (Don't you know that duct now needs to be replaced,,, When Steve did see the cat on the monitor, he verbally guided Mike on gently nudging the cat with the camera cord so the cat would move to the end of the duct and jump down from the uncovered bedroom vent. Twice the cat backed up toward Mike and we worried the cat would jump out past him and then be loose in the attic. Now - catching the cat in the bedroom after that with a net is another story! Mike and Steve were not only professional toward us, but also professional and respectful with each other; they are efficient as a team. In the course of us trying to (literally) flush the cat out and using other methods, a duct was broken, a pipe was separated, there is standing water in one duct, and the drain pan was about to overflow. Mike stressed the importance of immediately repairing the pressing items and quickly prepared a quote to repair/replace/sanitize (can you imagine what a cat can do in four days????). If we had listened to their advice in the beginning, they would have removed the cat for a nominal fee and that would have been the end. NOW,,,,there is a whole lot more that needs to be done. Also impressive was how they cleaned everything up - no trace of any dirt or debris

I thought they were really expensive but I don't know what other air duct companies charge. They made a big deal out of bringing 8 guys to the job. One crew was supposed to stay there while the other one went to lunch but it turned out they all went out to lunch at the same time and were gone for two hours. I called the owner to tell him I stayed home that day so their guys could be here and to complain about them all going to lunch at the same time. He told me they should not have done that but nothing came of it.
