The Sales Team was great! They were kind, respectful, personal, and organized. This is one of the reasons we chose this company over others. They were knowledgeable and patient as well. However, the price per square was approximately $70 per square higher than many companies we received quotes from. We decided to go with them anyway due to the consistency of their work throughout our area. But looking at their completed jobs from the street was deceiving. When they "completed" our job, we noticed 15 or so areas of exposed nails and one valley area where they had 9 or so layers of shingles along with crooked cuts along drip edges in various areas. They also destroyed a Plumeria plant I had been growing for more than 5 years and they did not have the decency to apologize or bring it to our attention! They were not as responsive when we asked for them to come out to fix the problem areas, but eventually did within a week. *This was our first insurance claim and a lesson was learned! Most companies will ask to see your insurance claim with the adjustor's numbers for actual cash value, depreciated value, etc. DO NOT SHOW THEM THIS UNLESS YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY HAS NOT PAID YOU ENOUGH! THEY ALL WANT TO "HELP YOU", BUT REALLY THEY ALL WANT GET AS MUCH MONEY FROM YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY AS POSSIBLE. There was no reason we should have come out of pocket as my insurance company paid us very well, but WE DID! They tried to justify the price adjustment with the upgrades we choose. Even with the upgrades, we still paid more than $40 per square than what other companies would have charged. Overall, I am disappointed in the quality of work and the final price charged. If the workers performed like the sales team (minus the price gouging) this would be a great company. Let me make note as well, we own a company (Top Gun Tree and Land Services) and have done insurance jobs as well. We have never asked to see insurance papers so we could "adjust our numbers accordingly". OUR PRICE IS OUR PRICE AND WE DO NOT INCREASE OUR PRICE BASED ON THE INSURANCE COMPANY'S PAY OUT! I BELIEVE THIS SORT OF PRACTICE IS DECEIVING AND DISHONEST! IN THE END, WE FEEL THIS TRANSACTION AS A WHOLE WAS A SCAM!
