Mr David and family were great to work with! He is quick to respond, shows up when he says he will, and is knowledgeable and experienced in his field. This was my first (and hopefully last) time needing foundation work, but he explained his reasoning behind his assessment and walked me through his recommendations. Lucked out and he was able to start the job almost immediately. They were punctual each day, very considerate of noise (I work from home) and completed exactly when he said they would. So easy to work with; would recommend for anyone needing foundation work. You may find cheaper companies, but you won't find the peace of mind that comes from their quality of work and years of experience!

I have owned four properties in New Orleans, including two that are over a hundred years old. Needless to say, shifting piers and termite-damaged sills are an inevitable part of my life! Fortunately, someone recommended Lauricella & Sons to me the first time I needed a foundation repair. Since then, I've hired them so many times, I've quit counting! As a realtor and a landlord, I know how important it is to have foundation work done correctly, and I know I'm in good hands with Dave Lauricella. When he takes on a job, he doesn't farm it out to his underlings, so to speak; he and Dave, Jr. are there, doing the work, for the entire duration of the job. And not only are they thorough, they consistently go above and beyond. I recently hired them to replace a sill that had major water damage from an undetected leak in a window frame. In addition to replacing the sill and checking all the piers under the house and making minor repairs as needed, they repaired and repainted the window frames - and Dave, Sr. even reglazed another window, just for the heck of it! (And he did a pristine job, I might add!) The Lauricellas are true artisans. They even do their own millwork, which means they can take on repairs to historic houses that many carpenters these days might not be able to handle. As if all of that weren’t enough, these guys are also a delight to talk to, which makes it really nice to have them working at my property. I’ve been using Lauricella & Sons for over a decade now, and, obviously, I just can’t say enough good things about them!

Lauricella & Sons is the only foundation repair company you should ever allow to work on your home. Mr. David and Mr. Dave are master-craftsmen, dedicated to professionalism, honesty, and integrity in all they do. They turned my 80-year old Uptown home from a slightly shaky place with ‘bouncy’ floors into a rock-solid fortress that will outlive me! Using the highest quality materials and equipment, they replaced and reinforced piers (and added three new ones), replaced beams, and replaced, reinforced, and added joists, all to ensure a strong foundation. They even took the time to the time to bundle and move dangling wiring up off the ground, re-arrange some plumbing for greater over-all efficiency, and clean out detritus under the house. They believe in going above-and-beyond, and you can count on them to bring a dedication to excellence to every job they undertake! It was a privilege to have the Lauricellas work on my home, and I am grateful for their honesty and meticulous attention to detail. David is very easy to communicate with. He and his sons are very dependable/reliable and nice to work with.. Very smooth experience.

This is an old-school business of a father (David Lauricella) and his two sons, and they are all involved in the business from the first visit (one day after I first called) to the last bit of clean-up. This is the kind of business that exists all too INfrequently in today's world. The work involved jacking up the house about mid-way back, pulling out a 100 year-old brick pier, digging a long trench for pouring a new cement footing, building the new pier on the new footing out of shimmed, solid cement blocks, and sealing the new pier to protect it from moisture. They also dug out the crumbling mortar from 6 more piers that were not as damaged, replaced the mortar, and re-sealed each one. I recommend them highly. They specialize in older New Orleans homes (in NOLA, that means 50-100+ years old), and they also do remodeling and repairs.
