He and an assistant were here no more than 15 minutes but actually took 5 minutes to clear the clog. It was a simple job that I could have done on my own had I had a plumbing snake or cable. In retrospect I wish I would have gone and bought or rented one. He was very prompt and came the same day I called and contacted me before coming. My biggest issue was the price. I was charged $120 for labor and $35 for a sewer cable which was the equipment and not a part I wished I would have asked for the price but figured most appliance and service workers were in the same ballpark. Their base fee was $120/hr, nearly $50 more than I had paid other repair people . If I had it to do over again, I would have contacted Ed's Plumbing. They are on Angie's list and I had forgotten I had used them about 15 months ago to change out a bathroom faucet, clearly a more complicated job, but one in which I was only charged $151.

In regards to Mr. [removed member name]'s call, two licensed plumbers arrived at his house to unstop a lavatory drain. They used a sewer machine that costs eight hundred dollars to unstop the drain. This did not take very long because our plumbers have the knowledge and equipment to handle such issues. Our service calls are at a flat rate plus any material. We do charge a fee for equipment such as sewer machines, sewer camera, excavators, tractors, or a smoke machine due to the wear on these items. Because our plumbers are so efficient, our customers often do not see the preparation or conclusion to their job. For example, the sewer machine that was used in Mr. [removed member name]'s drain had to be cleaned and oiled once back at the shop because of the chemicals that Mr. [removed member name] used in an attempt to clear the line before contacting us. Our company strives to deliver quality service from start to finish. Every service call includes a team of a Master Plumber and a Journeyman Plumber with decades of experience to solve any plumbing issue. Our company has multiple licenses and is fully insured. Unfortunately, the cost of doing business is expensive due to our economic times leading to higher labor and material costs. We try our best to be honest and provide a quality service.

Description of Work: Installed gas shutoff valve, relocated some unsightly water lines and repaired a few other plumbing problems. Cost of repairs was acceptable compared to amount of work they had to do and the length of time it took. The original plumbing was in horrible condition and Chris did a great job of making the corrections. Very personable and prompt and great communications. I will be using them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wrinkles.

His crew dug a hole where the sewer line entered the sewage treatment center and he ran a snake about 5 feet towards the house. He then told my husband that the line was collapsed and it would be 2 weeks before he could fix it. We couldn't wait two weeks. So I called a septic system pumping service and a friend with an excavator. We uncovered the rest of the line to find that there was a clog--possibly a toy that a grandchild flushed down a toilet. The septic system guys unclogged the line, repaired the hole in the pipe that Mr. Wrinkles left, and made sure the pipe had a slight slope to the system by pouring concrete under the pipe.
Description of Work: Sewer was backing up into house shower, tub, & toilets. We called this plumber because he lived 3 miles away.

We are sorry to hear that the customer was unhappy with the services rendered and wish she had contacted our office with her concerns directly. She was not on site that day and the plumber spoke with a family member instead. Unfortunately, sewer pipes and their problems are concealed under ground and make it challenging to make a complete diagnosis as to what is causing issues. The plumber used a sewer cable to attempt to clear the line without success. It was suspected that the old line had collapsed since the cable could not pass through. At that time, our scheduling was unable to accommodate a quick resolution of the problem that would meet the needs of the family. We are honest with our customers from the start about service call fees and scheduling time frames. As a licensed and insured plumbing company, we are bound by laws that require us to notify LA One Call before we can excavate an area. This is a 72 hour process by itself. Unfortunately, there was no "quick fix" to this situation without excavating the suspected bad section of pipe. Since sewer issues can be tricky to diagnosis, our company has since invested in a sewer camera that can be run inside the sewer pipe to show a video image of the condition of the pipe and fittings. This tool has become invaluable since it gives the plumber and customer a visual of the problem.

It went as advertised and on time without problems. We had acess to his cell phone # as well as the office #. All questions were answered timely.
Description of Work: Project remodel entire house Wrinkles plumbing (Chris) replaced 90% of the older pipes with copper and bought all the plumbing up to code. Chris was very professional, on time, highly skilled, and answered all our questions. Along the way we made some changes, Chris worked with the changes without concern. Great plumber
