Mudbug Pavers

Larkin Bagget was our salesman, consultant and jobsite supervisor. We found him to be a wonderful person to deal with. Mudbug Pavers exceeded our expectations. The price was fair and we have a beautiful area for entertaining. Where we had a muddy side yard before, its now a wide cement walkway with a retaining wall that matches our patio pavers and extension. we would recommend them to anyone, and will.

It went well. Pavers were done without a hitch. There was a leak at awning, but it was taken care of quickly. Larkin and Charlie were great to deal with.

My wife & I did a lot of research & had a specific concept we were looking for. Also we had existing drainage issues that needed to be addressed before we decided on a plan. Although we initially gave Charlie our ideas & issues we felt he would have to fix for us he came up with a logical & knowledgeable solution that still included our concept. Charlie's willingness to adapt & be accommodating to changes that are inevitable with a project this large was a God send. The finished project which included borders for garden areas through out came out better than we could have imagined. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Mudbug Pavers for any home improvement service he offers. Thanks Charlie Wagner

The path came out good, but the crew was not very experienced at laying pavestone paths. Once Charlie left the job site for the crew to finish, I had to intervene several times to make sure that the path came out the way I wanted. They did not pay attention to details that would have made the job perfect. For example; they would have left damaged stones in the path, the mortar edge used along the edge of the path was sloppy, I had to figure out the curves on the corner, they did not clean up the gardens on either side of the path, and a lot of soil cement mixture was left in the gardens that I had to clean up. Charlie was excellent and really knew what he was doing and I feel that all the details I mentioned above would not have occured if he had stayed until the job was completed, I would use them again if Charlie stayed and supervised the job from start to finish.

Charlie was excellent to deal with, very personable and informative. He worked around our budget and because their company partners with a finance company with 0% interest for a year! We were able to transform our back yard into another enjoyable space for lots of family fun! Charlie came out took measurements, discussed options, gave suggestions. Unfortunately the in-climate weather delayed the start date, but it only took them two days from start to finish.

Mudbug Pavers did an superb job in designing and installing a pavestone driveway in front of our house. Charlie is the owner of Mudbugs and was a pleasure to work with. We gave Charlie the basics of what we were looking for and he took care of all the details. He really knows his trade. Before we knew it, Charlie's expert crew arrived and we now have a beautiful pavestone driveway at a price we're happy with. He even referred us to a landscaper that he works with to help us with landscaping between the house and the driveway (turned out to be a great company as well). Can't say enough great things about Mudbug Pavers.

You gotta see my Patio! Proof is in the pavers. Mudbug just left and overall it was a great experience! I know bad experiences b/c I had to cancel the contract for another company who I'd intended to do both a patio cover and pavers. Mudbug began the job within 1 and 1 1/2 weeks of their initial estimated time, due to the rain. They came by today to finish clean-up, take away the last of the dirt and sand. I appreciate that. Although there were a few delays in the beginning, mostly due to rain, when these guys got started, they were very fast. Three or Four guys came first, skimming off the grass and dirt then immediately working in the leveling sand and then they began laying the Pavers. These guys worked hard, very hard, from 7:30 to 7:30 with the briefest of breaks. I won't say there weren't a couple of problems but they were resolved to my satisfaction. I didn't like one of the squared off corners and they changed to the curves. We were short of stones and they came back the next day to complete the job, then we discovered that some of the stones were the wrong color and the owner came back himself to change them out. He returned for the clean up and took care of it himself. It was a good experience. From the beginning with David, their salesman, he answered all my questions, knew his product and made sure I got what I wanted. He called to ask if I was happy with it. I wish I'd known that they did patio covers, I would probably have my cover now and not be waiting on another contractor. ;( I know we have some additional renovations in our plans and I will call them first. Most of all though you should SEE my patio, it really is a beautiful addition to our home. Thanks to MudBug Pavers!

I had contacted MudBugs several months ago for an estimate. We visited their location several times because we were not exactly sure what we wanted. While we could look at various styles of pavers, the person there on Saturdays really could not answer a lot of our questions. The salesman was good about helping us decide, but the final estimate ended up being quite a bit higher than the original one. Apparently the first estimate did not include and quot;everythingand quot; that needed to be done. Once the difference was explained and we researched it a bit more, we gave MudBugs the go ahead and gave them our deposit. We took a very long time to make up our minds. . . but once we did, we wanted the project done pretty quickly. Due to circumstances out of MudBug Pavers' control, the pavers we selected were delayed quite a bit. We were on the verge of requesting a refund when the project finally got started. Due to weather and some underestimation of the sand needed, the project ended up taking longer than we anticipated. This was not a huge issue, but more of a minor inconvenience. We need to point out that their installers are AMAZING! It is obvious that the installers are true artisans -- they know their craft and do it quite well. We are very, very happy with our project and receive lots of compliments.

Pleased with the work. Did the job for the price quoted, and finished on time. The crew was efficient. The owner also provided additional consulting for my A/C units foundation which avoided unnecessary expense! Initially got the referral from LHBA, but also was encouraged by their rating here on Angie's List.

Preston came out and gave me an estimate. I stopped Mudbugs one day and picked out my pavers with Charlie's help. The guys came one day while I was at work and installed the pavers. The job was completed in one day. Great job!

Company representative came to home and examined job site, explained installation methods, and quoted a price. after helping with the selection of the pavestones, the salesman explained that the pavers would need to be ordered. the pavers arrived in a timely fashion and installation was scheduled. the installers were very professional and maintained a clean job site. The crew was very respectful of yard and existing landscaping. The quality of work was excellent. We would not hesitate to use this company again, or to recommend them to friends and family!! Our overall experience with Mudbug Pavers and Awnings could only be described as excellent!!!
