Sweeping Hands

Professional, punctual, asked for someone to review her work once she had finished. I was out of town so had a friend check it who said it was fine. Perhaps my standards are simply higher but when I saw the place, to me it looked barely better than before she had come. I pointed out some areas which were still quite dirty to my friend who agreed that after all it cold have been a lot more thorough.

Splendidly. The ladies were amazingly hard working. They didn't rush through the job. Each task was done completely. A really fabulous job was done. Completely professional and utterly competent.

They clean my 3BR, 2.5BA home very thoroughly once per month. The two young women are very prompt and do not dally. I am very happy with the service.

They came, they saw, they conquered. Excellent job. Even made my wife happy (a miracle)!

The job was really done well. The housekeepers were more thorough than I originally anticipated. The only snafu was in scheduling. Unbeknownst to me, a time was scheduled for the job. Not until there was a knock on the door did I know anyone was coming over. That is because the provider originally messaged through Angie's List and not via telephone. Unfortunately, they had to be sent away and rescheduled. But, that was minor. I was really more concerned for the housekeepers as this probably negatively affected their schedules. They did a great job and I would highly recommend the service.

Two of the sweetest ladies showed up and they did not stop until the house sparkled! I had gotten a coupon from Angie's list. I had never had a cleaning service before but would LOVE to have them keep up my house on a regular basis now that it is clean. I was very happy with the service. I was contacted to make an appointment right away and sent an email as a reminder again the night before they came. Thank you, Sweeping Hands!

Deep Clean advertized was for 8 hours of cleaning (4 hours for 2 cleaners) Purchased deep clean for my duplex - 2 units. A one bedroom (less than 1000 sq ft) for $99.00 and a tthree bedroom (vacant: less than 1500 sq ft) for $199. cleaner arrived at approx 8:15AM and left @ approx 1:30PM . so they cleaned for approx 51/2 hours instead of 8 hours total for the 2 units. I asked cleaners to wipe out the kitchen cabinets as they were empty. When I came back in room I found all of the shelf lining piled up in the middle of the floor. I did not ask them to do this. also, I had labeled all of the light switches for my incoming tenant and the cleaners removed the labels and tossed them so they could clean the switch plates. I understand they needed to remove the labels to clean plates but they should have asked me what to do about the labels. So I will have to redo the labels. As for the shelf lining, the lining probably needed replacing but the new tenant will have to redo it. If I would have had to do that myself, I would be very upset. I found the cleaners to be a bit rough with the mini blinds (individual blades left in all directions, a couple slightly bent but ok) and the kitchen drawers (old drawers and cabinets). It appeared they were trying to work fast. Otherwise, the cleaning was fine. I had to leave before they had completely finished so I asked cleaner to call me when they were done, to just close the doors and I would return when she called to lock up. When I returned the front door was ajar about two inches as it had gotten caught on the door mat.. So the unit door was left ajar. Thankfully this was an empty rental unit.

Other than being a little late, they did a great job. cleaned under things ! I will get them again on a regular basis.

It went well with Sweeping Hands but I was kind of a little bit misled by the coupon, what it was for. He was going to come in and they were going to do an all day cleaning but I guess it wasn't for that. It was more like a half day cleaning but more people doing it, I was just a little confused so I didn't really get what I thought I was going to get. They cleaned everything and did a very good job. The women who were there were finished half an hour early and she was like"do you want us to come back another time and you can pay for another service." I was like "no, I'll find a half hour more work, don't worry about it" so I had them do more deep cleaning stuff by getting into some cupboards and cleaning there. I thought they were going to do more deep cleaning like baseboards, a little bit more intense than the normal sweeping and stuff. I did have a good experience with them but I still feel a little misled so I'm not really sure that I would use them again. I guess if you know what you're going to get from them the I'd say that they were good.

Went well- good workers...mishap with floor was very quickly addressed by owner.

They didn't move anything around to clean under. Light fixtures were not cleaned; there were still layers of dust remaining. I contacted the owner after they left to inform her about the poor work. She sent some new cleaners back out to clean everything that the initial cleaners missed.

Generally good. Dusted ceiling fans, and kitchen appliances were spotless. Must have run out of steam, though, because one bathroom floor was not cleaned at all. House is about 1700 sf, so a little surprised that they didn't finish the job.

Called after hours and they called back the next day. I actually talked her up $25 on price to do a good job cleaning out my rental unit. They did a great job with most of the apartment, we didn't notice anything dirty. But when our tenant moved in, she told us there was sprayed poo behind the toilet. The cleaners should know to look there and to clean it up. We also had some problems with billing mistakes. Everything else was great and will probably hire Sweeping Hands in the future.

They did a good job. They were thorough. We thought the deal was reasonable but other then that it was expensive.

I thought she did a good job. It was a special for 3 hours cleaning for $ 99. A great price!

LaShonda and her team were terrific. They arrived on time and were extremely efficient and thorough. We will use them again.

Miss LaShanda came and walked through the house and gave her workers instructions on what was needed to be done. The two ladies started cleaning and accomplished the whole job in less than 4 hours so they cleaned a few extra items. Since I still had an hours worth for two workers, this credit will be applied to my first bi-weekly cleaning! Miss LaShanda is professional and thorough in her explanation of what was included and what to expect. She returned after the job was done and made sure I was 100% satisfied. I have always used an individual cleaning person in the past and am now sold that a professional cleaning company does not have to cost a fortune to get a quality job.

From the get-go, the communication was just awesome. I emailed and LaShanda emailed me right back. She was extremely courteous and very amenable to my needs. I'd just bought a house in St. Roch that was floor-to-ceiling gross, from the 1968 terrible paneling everywhere, to the poo-brown painted floors, to nasty evidence of the former roach problem, to the fried-food smell embedded in the walls, to the general state of ickiness. I contacted them and asked if this was the kind of thing they could handle. Not a problem. It was incredibly easy to work with LaShanda to find a time that would work for everyone, and she could not have been nicer or more professional via email. The day of the job, my water was cut off by the S&WB and I had to flag down a passing truck in order to get water turned on. I emailed LaShanda and she suggested I have a crew of 4 people come a bit later in the day to assure the water was on in time, rather than having 2 people for 4 hours earlier in the day, since the Big Deal was for 8 hours of work. They showed up early, when I was still trying to frantically pre-clean the place as much as I could, since it was so gross that I felt bad imposing it on anyone else. They saw me doing it and literally took the broom out of my hand and told me to leave it to them. This seriously is the only time I had heard "leave it to me" in the whole home buying process. I almost hug-attacked them all. So I suddenly had 2 hours to go get a tetanus shot, as I'd had a little rusty mishap earlier that day. I came back about 2 &1/2 hours later and they'd packed up and locked themselves out after emailing me to let me know they were done. Let me just tell you how good the place looked: The formerly brown bathtub was white. The cabinets full of roach poo were clean and empty. The place no longer smelled of fry oil. They even picked up, moved, and cleaned under the stack of lumber I'd leaned against a wall after tearing up a built-out closet earlier that day. I told them to ignore the pile of wood and that I would deal with it later. But no, they cleaned it, moved it, restacked it on the other side of the room, and scrubbed the floor under it. I went in to painter-tape everything off that night and was just thrilled at every turn by how clean everything was, especially considering I had to get on my stomach in the bathroom to tape around the clawfoot tub and the commode. The spray-priming went well and only revealed one or two little balls of dust in the whole place, which is really good, considering how dark the place was with the paneling and all. Sweeping Hands are like cleaning rockstars. So good. I'd hire them again in a second and I recommend that you do the same.

I called on Friday to set up an appointment for Monday to clean a duplex so a tenant could move in. The ladies were punctual and got right to work. When they were done, the place was spotless and smelled great! I will be using them again.

They came on time, they worked diligently, and stayed a bit longer that contracted for no extra charge and did a woderful job.

Good experience. I cleaned the stove beforehand so that they would spend more time on the floor boards, which needed a lot of cleaning. I couldn't get them to prioritize the floor boards (somewhat of a language barrier and I think mgmt prioritizes kitchen and bathrooms).

They were very professional when I called to make an appointment. They showed up on time, and got right to work. They did an excellent job, and worked hard the entire time.
