 + -1 moreIt took 2 days until they were able to work on my computer, but when it came my turn I was called with an quote and once I approved the price they started the repairs, after two days my emails were unlocked, an a new faster drive was installed and also installed new Malware. I have had my computer repaired twice by them and have been satisfied both times with their work. In my book I feel safe with them and I feel that there work holds up.
Description of Work: When I brought my laptop to A Prompt repair shop my emails were locked up from a hack job. I had been needing my hard drive updated, and I decided to give their Malware a shot because I had been hacked under McFee security.

 + -1 moreMy PC was no longer showing advanced graphics. I left the unit at A Prompt for a diagnosis. They took a week to do nothing. They had promised to call in three days. No phone call was received. I finally called after a week and was told the graphics board was bad, which I what I told the girl at the admissions desk. The price would be $500. plus labor. I asked for and received the PC and left. I took the unit to another store and it was repaired for half that price including labor. I would not use this company again. They don't communicate, require a thirty dollar deposit and they do nothing for that money except parrot the my assessment of problem.
Description of Work: I submitted a PC for diagnosis. I was charged $30.00 for the diagnosis. I explained the problem and gave my assessment as to the cause of the problem. I asked for a repair estimate. I waited a week for an estimate with no response. I finally called and was given the same information I had left as to the problem and causes. The estimate was to totally replace the mother board. I gained no further information. I went and recovered the PC none the wiser for the thirty dollars. I wouldn't use them again for anything.
