electrician, generator service
+ 0 moreI've had my generator for about four years. Used it three times for up to five days during the last hurricane. Ethanol gas messed up the carburetor. I could not find anyone in Baton Rouge authorized to fix it. I found one person in Prairieville, but they could not say when it would be repaired - "Could be six weeks, could be more" plus they had a bad rating on Angie's List. Called PriceCo - they said they could have it back in three weeks and would speed it up if a storm was coming. There was a small deposit. They called me with the estimate which I approved. Called me in three weeks, told me it was ready. When I went to pick it up they showed me some things to do to avoid future problems. Cost was right on the estimate - $130. People were super friendly and helpful. The place has the feel of an old-fashioned hardware store, but they have the stuff you need and they fix yard tools, etc., quickly at a reasonable price. All in all, a great experience! Note: At first I dreaded driving out to Greenwell Springs Road, but it took very little time compared to driving around Baton Rouge. Once I got there, there was no wait. A+
