Mark checked it out and reset everything and adjusted the temperature settings and the ice maker started working again! I would definitely use him again!

When Marks appliance arrived to install the door, it was the wrong door but we still had to pay a $75.00 trip charge. Once we received the 2nd door, we rescheduled appointment and not only did they replace the damaged door but also installed a new seal because it was damaged as well. The installation went really well and we would call marks appliance again.

Mark discovered a bad switch in the circuit, the part that flips the light on when the door opens. I had suspected that switch when I called Mark. He ordered the part and came back to install the switch. Problem solved.

Great! Quick to show up and perform work and price was reasonable.

Mark's Appliances has helped us twice now, and both times he was able to diagnose and fix the problem with our washer. (There were two different problems.) Mark was a very good communicator and has also shown himself to be a very competent repairman. Very satisfied with the entire experience. :)

The ice maker now works as it should. It had to be repaired by someone other than Mark but that was ok.

Came the next day right on time. Fixed issue for very reasonable price.

Outstanding. I was satisfied. He came out right away to assess what we needed and he had to order the Trane units and when they came in he immediately installed them. They just work great. I am real satisfied with the how he handled everything. Showing up and getting it done and reliability.

A+. Mark is quick, friendly, and honest. My final repair bill was actually less than my quoted estimate. we thought the dryer motor was in need of replacement. After taking it apart, it was just a part attached to the motor that was bad, the part was much cheaper than a new motor. Honesty much appreciated!

Was very pleased with the service Mark's Appliance Repair provided .I called yesterday to schedule a washing machine repair and was told Mark would call me between 5-7 pm that evening to schedule the appointment , and he did just that . My appointment was the following morning between 8 and 8:30 , Mark arrived at 8:15 , was here 45 mins - ! hour and provided excellent service and was very informative. The price was one of the best prices around . Sears is way over priced and you don't get good service, a few other companies do not service LG and I have not seen out standing service like this in a while . We all have busy schedules and when someone tells you something , you expect what they say, unless informed other wise . The past few years dealing with various companies pest control , pluming etc. some were no shows , late and so forth . So to get the service I got today , made me very pleased and I highly recommend this company and will use again if needed !! I would like to add that I am new to Angie's list and this was my first time putting it to use . Angie's List was a brilliant idea , we care share the pros and cons . Let's face it , it's our time and money . When spending we want the best of the best and not feel cheated ! I hope this review was helpful .

I called about mid day and was told Mark would call between 5 and 7 which he did. Said he had me scheduled between 12 and 2 the next day (two days before Christmas, I had feared a longer wait.) He called about 1 PM and said he was delayed but expected to be there around 3 which he was. He had guided me on the phone where to find the model number and from my description of th noise we were hearing he had correctly assessed the problem and brought the correct replacement kit. The whole thing took less than an hour door to door. Appliance repair doesn't get any better than this!

My refrigerator's motor was not working and called several appliance companies to set up appointments. Mark's appliance was the only one who could come the next day. He showed up on time, check the wires of the refrigerator and after 10minutes, the motor was on and refrigerator has been working properly since. (He told me that if he had to come back in 30 days, there will be no extra charge for labor. ) I am thankful that the problem was solved.

Called Mark's Monday morning about repair of our dryer. Made an appointment with his wife for Tuesday morning ( this is truly a "Mom and Pop" business). Mark showed up at about 10:00am and quickly diagnosed the problem - faulty door switch. He had the part and made the repair in less than 30 minutes.

.Mark came exactly at the time arranged....such a nice man! He was unable to repair my dishwasher because the necessary part was on it's 2nd 40-day back order. He suggested that I call the company, because I was not even sure of the date of purchase. I did so, and I'm very surprised that they were able to find that it was still in warranty! Yay! So he solved my problem even tho he was unable to directly fix the machine. Yes, I will certainly call him again and recommend him to anyone.

Mark responded by phone the same day I called, even though he had to call after usual work hours. He came during the scheduled window of time the next day. I was about 20 minutes away from the house, so our housekeeper handled the service call on our end. He was done with the job before I arrived. He also looked at the dryer while I was home and suggested no service being needed. He could easily have recommended something "preventative", and I probably would have do the work. I found him to be honest, prompt, professional and personable. I would gladly hire him again and would encourage anyone else to do so, as well.

Did a diagnostic of the fridge, checking components of the defrost. Found all were good, but spotted a clogged drain line. It caused water to backup and freeze, not allowing proper defrost. He advised me that this was a fairly common problem, but if I were to get icing again in the fridge, it would indicate the fridge would need a new main board. He was willing to explain everything he was doing and why, and I appreciate that.

We have a 3 year old Samsung refrigerator that was knocked out of service during a recent thunderstorm. The lights on the fridge were on, but it wasn't cooling at all. Mark came to our house and was on time. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty control board. He said that he was having trouble getting Samsung parts for other customers. He said he put an order for the part and would let me know whether or not it came in when it was due, but he warned me that some of the other parts he was waiting on he had been waiting on for 7 weeks. So it wasn't looking good. That night I found a supplier that claimed to have the part I needed in stock and ready to ship. I let Mark know the details by email. He replied that evening to let me know to go ahead and order the part, and he would cancel the original order. The part arrived, and Mark came over to install it. The board that I got shipped to me did not match the original board exactly. The new one was larger and it didn't look like it would work. At first I thought I wasted my money on it, but Mark inspected it to see if it had all of the connections it needed, and found that it would fit in the control board housing. So he asked me if I wanted to try it out or not. I told him to give it a shot. He installed it, and it worked like a charm. We now have a working fridge again and we weren't even supposed to get our part yet. I really liked the following about my experience with Mark: 1. He was upfront with me about the part availability troubles he was having. 2. He really worked with me when I found an alternate source for the part.* 3. He showed up on time. 4. He charged a fair price for his work. Thanks Mark. * I should add that by finding my own part I was prepared to deal with the return and potential waste of money if I ended up not being able to use what I ordered. I don't recommend doing the same unless you're comfortable taking that same risk. For me it was worth risking $120 to have a chance at getting a working fridge versus the possibility of having to wait months for a part that may not come in at all.

Mark was very nice, punctual and good at communicating when, where, what and how.

4/21/15 Arrived in timely manner. Mark promptly and accurately determined what repairs were needed for each appliance . Gave verbal estimate on price of parts for whirlpool duet washer repair needed new pump around $100.00 plus $70.00 for service call. Also gave verbal estimate for Kenmore dishwasher repair to replace door seal/gasket around $40.00 plus $70.00 for service call. Repairs to be done next day so Mark could obtain parts. 4/22/15 Arrived in timely manner. Had incorrect part for whirlpool duet washer so unable to perform washer repair that day, also informed me the correct part would be about $200.00 not $100.00 as estimated. I agreed to repair for washer with change of price to be done the next day. Mark then replaced the dishwasher seal/gasket and I paid $186.56 as billed. After Mark left I realized that priced charged for doorseal/gasket was $99.99 not anywhere close to $40.00 estimated. I did question Mark about the price difference of the door seal/gasket the next day and he just stated "that's what it cost, I guess I should have told you first" I told him yes he should have as it was 2 and a half times more than his estimate Not just a few dollars. 4/23/15 Mark arrived in a timely manner and completed repairs on the washer. Billed $272.92, 187.79 for pump and $60.00 for service call($10.00 discount applied for scheduling via Angie list).Both appliances have been repaired to my satisfaction and I would use his services again but not before he had actual prices for parts needed not estimates as both his first estimates on parts prices were substantially different than reality.

I found his company on Angies List. I called him at 8:15 am and he was here at 9:30, right on time. He was finished by 10:10.
