We have used Roundtree for our annual Termite treatment for the last 2 years. The guy that comes, John I think, has always been so helpful. He not only does a thorough spraying but he was happy to sit through the bunches of questions we had about mosquitos and such. When we began to have a problem with mice in our shed (big field/pasture on the other side of our fence) we called them to start a monthly treatment. Sonya came out and put mouse traps throughout our shed, then spent close to an hour meticulously treating all parts of our yard and house. We have not had any problems since this started. We asked if this was such an extensive treatment because it was the first time, and the answer was "No." Apparently this is their typical monthly service... For $50!!!!! It is definitely worth it to go with this local company. Prices are very reasonable considering all you get and the service is phenomenal.

They are very nice people. Their price is reasonable and their work is great as far as I can see. I was not here when they came to do the job but I am very satisfied with their work even if they were not supervised.

They are really good. It cost $35 a month, but they just went up to $45 a month. I have been using them for over two years. They are on time, prompt, very helpful if I have a question about bugs and they are very quick to take care of the service. If I see ants in the yard they take of care of it for no extra care. The monthly cost covers everything. Their price is very good for my area, they are the cheapest. Other companies charge $50 to come out and spray.

They were instructed to leave inspection tickets under the carport when they came to do the bait trap checks. For the first year, I never got a single inspection ticket and grass had grown over the termite traps, making it impossible to tell where they were. When I called to ask about it, the secretary said that they were checked and that she had the inspection tickets on file and sent me copies of them. This made me suspicious but I renewed anyway, in 2009, to give them the benefit of the doubt. It happened again in 2009, the person coming out to check the traps had turned in an inspection slip to the office but had not come by the house. I called to find out where he was and the secretary again said he had been out to check them, said she had the inspection slip on file and read me the date of inspection which happened to have been the day I was home waiting for him to show up.. but he never did. She told me to call him and I said she needed to call him, not me. He called me a few minutes later and admitted he wasn't at the house but had turned in the ticket anyway and planned to come out the following week. He was again supposed to com eout and inspect them in December but he never did. He said he was getting married and going on his honeymoon and would call me when he returned to set up a day for him to come out. He didn't. And no inspection slip- again. I felt at that point there were red flags going up all over the place. I did not have a termite damage contract with them, and it appeared as though they were not even coming out to check the traps- it was a win win situation for them! I called Terminex and Orkin to see if they would give me a termite damage contract, they both came out, inspected the house and said they would. This made me more suspicious of Roundtree so I called when my contract renewal was up and aired my complaints to the owner of the company who met my concerns with hostility, immaturity and indifference. He was not at all willing to find a solution to these issues or even address something that might be affecting the future business of his company. I asked him to tell me how he had treated the house when he was first hired by the previous home owners and he said he didn't know, that my files were not in front of him. I asked him to call me back when he did have the files so I could know how he treated the house and he flat out said he would not. When I asked him why he would not call me back with the information, he said " What's the point? I mean, you are not happy with us, so there's no need to call you back about anything". I told him there was a need because he had treated my house and I had a right to know. He still said he would not be calling me back. He said things like "Well, if you dont like me, you dont like my secretary, you don't like my workers, you don't like my company, then we have nothing to say to each other, you're obviously not happy with us and you've made up your mind already so there is no point in us talking any further and this will be our last phone call". He acted extremely childish, defensive and not at all surprised that someone working for him may not have been doing their job correctly. I did file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau but people like this don't care. It's worth it to go with a trusted name in Houma, like Terminex or Orkin.
