I contacted Gonzales Electric on Wednesday September 5th with a very unique situation. I am purchasing a foreclosed home and the previous inspection stated there were electrical deficiencies at the property. I was not allow to connect the power to the home through the electrical provider so I needed a licensed electrician to come out to the property and hook up generator power. Gonzales Electric was able to come out first thing Thursday morning September 6th (even after a hurricane passed on Wednesday August 29th) and take care of my request. Upon arrival they wasted no time connecting the generator power and then conducting a very thorough inspection of every light fixture and receptacle in the home. They also went through the electrical panel and made sure that all connections were tight and ready to go. The 2 guys were very friendly and worked efficiently. My family and I can not rest assured our new home is electrically safe.
Description of Work: Connect generator power to inspect electrical systems after previous inspection stated deficiencies in the system.

It initially took them several weeks to finish the job. They told me that I was their only house they were doing work at. It was one excuse after another. They have not honored their warranty. I have three plugs that are coming out of the wall and two light fixtures that do not work. They said that they pulled the permits on our house and so this was their reason for putting in fire alarms. We ended up having to pull one of the alarms out in the kitchen because it kept going off anytime you would walk past it. Also, the fire alarms in the laundry room and the hallway go off anytime the oven is on. They wont fix it and they lied about pulling the permits. I held my money from paying them and they sued me. I lost the suit and they still haven't honored the work. They guy that I dealt with was Angelo.
